An Introduction
Bal’a dash, friends! The Farstrider Network has been a project in the making since late in the year last year and has finally been completed to begin inviting other players to our community. For those who might know me, the Farstrider community has been a very near and dear thing to me for many years now, and something I’d very much like to see restored once again. I find myself very passionate to see more activity restored.
The goal is to create a community with fellow Farstrider roleplayers who can work together to explore story-telling opportunities, a social networking opportunity, and more!
Please take a moment to review the following information in further depth, and if you have any questions, there is contact information for me listed below.
What is the Farstrider Network and what is its purpose?
The Farstrider Network is for fellow Farstrider roleplayers within Wyrmrest Accord to come together and have a place to discuss all things Farstriders and other matters regarding Quel’Thalas! It was created to help other Farstrider roleplayers connect with one another and find ample opportunity to write stories together, while helping to enrich the communities we love so much.
Please note: The Farstrider Network is NOT led by solely one person or a small select handful, nor is this any claim to leadership of the Farstrider community as a whole. It is a collaborative effort of all Farstrider roleplayers and their allies within the blood elf community. Why? Because we are a team.
So what does collaborative effort mean with the Farstrider Network?
As a collaborative effort, the Farstrider Network represents a community of roleplayers in the community who can come together and make something truly wonderful to be a part of.
We are not a guild.
It is not up to one person to make events.
Whether you are part of it to simply make a few connections, run and/or attend RP events, socialize OOC with other blood elf roleplayers primarily in the Farstrider community, etc., - the hope here is that everyone will find something that makes them feel at home and part of something.
We encourage anyone to create and schedule RP events. Whether it’s a social gathering, DM’d event, patrols, and more. The skies the limit. It is our hope that we can all come together and enjoy the company of our fellow roleplayer and make many wonderful memories that make a community worth coming back to time and again!
Are there any requirements to joining the Farstrider Network?
Well, first - you should be a blood elf roleplayer. While we prefer your character to be a Farstrider or looking to become one, we do host an Ally rank in our discord server for those who are not Farstriders.
This rank is reserved for:
Blood Elf Civilians/Professionals
Blood Knights
Magistry Members
Illidari Blood Elves
Blood Elf Death Knights considered
Nightborne considered as allies
What are are not looking for:
Half-breed Farstrider OCs (i.e. half-blood elf/half-kaldorei, etc.,)
Anything too lore-breaking. Some lore bending is fine (Blizzard does it a lot themselves), but we are referring to over the top lore-breaking OCs.
Void-Elves. No exceptions.
Those who are not Farstriders, we would love to connect with you to work together to help enrich the blood elf community we love so much. You are also encouraged to attend certain RP events and create your own! Because let’s face it, surely you will need the awesome abilities of a Farstrider to help you.
Additional Requirements
We do require those interested in joining to adhere to our rules and standards within our Discord channel and our in-game established community. Mostly we encourage the whole, be nice to each other speech and the like - but you will find a more in-depth look at our rules in our Discord server.
How to Join:
To join the Discord server, please send in-game mail to:
In-game: Asharri and/or Telirine
Check us out at: farstrider-network .shivtr .com !
You can also request to join the Farstrider Network in-game in the guild and community finder. We are listed as The Farstrider Network or FarNet (for short).

Al diel shala. Don’t be afraid to reach out. We don’t bite. Besides, that’s far too barbaric. Arrows are far more sophisticated.
