I will vote kick every draenei I come across.
Everyone else is fine.

If you take away the factions, you take away identity and the core part of WoW.
If people want factions they can play Classic. They’re not relevant and bringing them back as Horde v. Alliance would be boring.
I’m sort of game for removing the walls and letting each subsequent faction introduce new factions we can join seasonally.
If people don’t want factions they could have always gone and played another game.
Doesn’t have to be Horde vs. Alliance to have factions. The everyone gets along story going on now is really boring.
I can relate except I’d vote kick any and all elves.
Long as they keep their filth out my cities.
The weird thing is they did that already
In the literal first expansion
But people seem to completely forget that BC’s actual factions weren’t HvA outside of some dumb pvp stuff.
The game is 20 years old. Most of the vets can barely remember WC3. New players have probably never heard of WC3.
IMHO the Horde and Alliance are obsolete as factions. They no longer represent what they were initially did - at least the Horde doesn’t; I have no idea what credo there is behind the Alliance.
They should be dissolved and new factions should take their place.
Let the players “resort” themselves.
Remove the faction difference from: star wars, lord of the rings, warhammer, etc
The factions are the bed rock the house stands on
So what is the difference between the Alliance and Horde? What irreconcilable differences are there such that they need to fight?
The Alliance and Horde as factions are only skin deep.
Frankly, the Horde used to stand for something - even then the reason for war was weak - but that changed in Cata when they removed Thrall.
I no longer subscribe to the creed of today’s Horde - not that there is one to subscribe to.
Better they come up with new factions that actually mean something and let players “sort” themselves into the faction of their choice.
Also ironically WC3 is the first of the storylines about how actually the factions shouldn’t really matter that much and eternal enmity will only destroy the world.
Thraina goes all the way back to 3.
If my sub hadn’t lapsed enough to lose picture privileges I would be posting the 6e 40k alliance matrix right about now just as a reminder that what imperium fans think the setting is and what the setting is are actually two different universes.
Most people are saying they don’t need to be constantly fighting in order to be distinct and have their own unique stories.
But we also don’t need to be merged into a single faction and constantly hold hands either.
No.
We just need a mercenary mode where you can gain neutrality with the opposing faction. In this mode you cannot gain rep, but you could interact with NPCs that would otherwise be hostile to you, allowing you to accept and complete quests that are normally tied to the opposing faction. This would extend to instanced content as well, where rep could be gained with whatever faction it normally would reward, except from opposing factions.
Use the NPCs in Orgrimmar and Stormwind that allow you to disable EXP gains be the NPC to offer this mode. Or have it as an option to choose from Chromie.
but I would not want you any other way
CAUSE!
It’s not enough
I need more
Nothing seems to satisfy
I said
I don’t want it
I just need it
to breath, to feel, to know I’m alive…
I can help you change,
Tired moments into pleasure
Say the word and we’ll be well upon our way
I could live with this.
I would prefer the hawkish party be the minority since Blizzard loves getting the leadership NPCs involved with the main plot which inevitably involves working together so it makes little sense for the Alliance and Horde to be at war.
But from a gameplay perspective, you idea is good too.
no. go play alliance we dont want faction traitors.
