Using WoWprogress, adding up all players get you:

Horde: 574,190 (55%)
Alliance: 465,192 (45%)

Even using your desired analytics, we are only 5% away from a 50/50 split. I don’t know how you can expect Blizzard to look at that and feel like they need to do more.

Thats still a 10% divide though

That shows you every alt every dead character every mile. You would need to find one that tracks active characters being played constantly.
