The fact that we still have to T1 gear is lame. Fix warrior stats on T2 Please

T2 warrior gears basically have no hits besides 2 pieces whereas T1 pieces mostly have hit. it’s so lame we have to wear T1 pieces for hit. Please put hits on T2 pieces

Did something change? I thought only the gloves had hit meaning only one piece has +hit.

Regardless, it can’t be stated enough that the stats on warrior dps T2 are terrible, rely on getting the rare DFT trinket because of the lack of hit and rely on the ZG world buff to sim better than T1.

Can easily get neck/rings/ranged with hit, cloak is a possibility too

Hit is a bad stat for Warriors, you just want 6% and then ignore it. Worst stat for dual wield after 6% and it’s quite literally worthless after that if you’re using a two-hander. This is good itemization.

Those items are bad though. 6p Core-forge with 3p of the T2 and 3p of T1 to get the bonuses (We’re using T1 for hit), and then 2p of the Draconic T2 for rend refresh on overpower crits. This is what happens when they make the set bonuses way too strong, you can’t afford to use items inefficiently to chase hit because you need these busted set bonuses.

DFT is bad?

DFT is definitely worse than Diamond Flask, arguable whether you think it’s better than HoJ (HoJ sims better tho), and is pretty contested by rogues who need actual melee hit cap. Unless they walkback being able to mix and match tier sets that give the same bonuses taking DFT is griefing.

You’re not going to have 8 pieces of T2 immediately. Or BiS weapons immediately.

By the time you actually get 8 pieces of T2, you will be able to slide in other pieces to pick up hit.

Literally a non-issue. Hit is a bad stat for Warriors. You wear what you need to get 6% and then it’s worthless.

Find 1 hit in the entire BWL loot table and youre 2h whitecapped v Bosses. Find 2-3 more on top of that, like say, DFT and Chromatic Boots… and DW will function just fine and youre not even sacrificing the 6p T2 set bonus if you want it.

so you’re saying that your T2 is not perfectly itemized and you might have to wear some hit rings/trinket/etc. This is truly a massive failure on Blizzards part. I will say a prayer for you

T2 is so poorly itemized it’s barely an upgrade over T1 without ZG buff and Horn. Please read what has been typed. If you compare T2 vs T1 you gain 30 str and 50 agi in exchange for losing 4% hit and 3% crit. It’s a bizarre 180 from T1 providing 5% hit down to 1% on T2. It’s such a massive loss infact that we choose to not wear T2 pieces in our shoulders, legs, or boot slots to wear T1 because we need the hit from T1 and T1 is good enough it’s better than having to sacrifice better items in our offpieces/weapon slots

Nobody is saying the hit cap is impossible to reach, it’s just incredibly poor itemization for T2 to provide so little in secondary stats because they massively overbudgeted into agility and not even enough agility to be worth more crit up-front further enforcing warrior reliability on world buffs to be a class.

This is an even bigger failure due to a total misunderstanding of warrior scaling. There’s no more scaling to be had outside of haste procs or direct blizzard buffs. We’re already rage capped enough to stance swap every 8 seconds and still maintain our rotation (when world buffed). We’re already at the point we have enough crit to maintain 90% flurry uptime. What’s left? Weapons and flat AP increases, so why are they stacking our T2 set with a stupid amount of agility at the cost of everything else?

It’s gonna be rough, yeah. As far as I know, Feral druids will still be using their T1 2 piece bonus, so that’s 1% less hit we’ll need at least.
