The expansion needs more time to cook

I’m not here to be a doomer but it seems like this expansion is not nearly as “ready” as it should be this close to release. Class/spec balance is all over the place. We still have a lot of bugs in Hero trees where abilities are not working at all, some never have. Then we have the tank changes that just feel rushed and disconnected from their worded intentions. The BDK changes are wild to introduce this late and I don’t even play BDK. Why are you making all of these changes after raid testing? This conversation should have started at the beginning of alpha.

There have been so many “wins” where we feel like you are truly listening recently. But at this point its getting concerning seeing how much time is left.

All of this seems pretty normal. Balancing is always the very last thing done its very rare you can predict what the live line up will be via beta.

Enjoy early access, lol.

Do the quests work?
Do the dungeons work?
Do the delves work?
Do the hero talents work?

If all of these are answered with “yes”, then the expansion is ready for launch.

Let it go. They made a business decision. Content is going to come faster now. I won’t be surprised if Dragonflight is the last 4 season expansion.

from whats been seen, the answer on most of those is no.

You can’t do the quests?
You can’t run the dungeons?
You can’t run delves?
You don’t have access to the hero talents?

All of those I can do on beta, so you’re either lying to doomsay or experiencing an anecdotal experience that is not representative of the whole. Though it is Sunday, so the first is most likely true.

Sounds like doomer talk.

Now it just sounds like tank whining. Sorry, but you’re going to have to learn to be a team player.

all of those have bugs present in them, you can do them, but there are bugs. its unfinished. You can be rude all you want, but it doesnt make it correct. We all are in the beta too, but far less delusional of the state of the game. To say its doomsaying to point out unfinished and rushed work is highly indicative of how the game got here to begin with. A lack of honesty.

So either you’re trying to cover for your trolling or again having an anecdotal experience not representative of the whole. Either way, cheers; may your trolling forever be ignored or laughed at.

i wasnt trolling. caught your comment before you edited it " cheers" was a better closer than something childish.

Every expansion has needed more ‘time to cook’.

Every expansion has spent the initial two months being hotfixed left and right to keep it playable and mostly balanced.

Why would it change now?

You are correct as stated only 2 seasons in any future expacs.

hopefully they dont ramp up the fomo lol.

Yeah it’s definitely wonky but I’m able to complete a bunch of heroic dungeons in random groups. Some of the damage is a bit off at times in some delves and for some bosses it seems, but that’s just balance stuff.

I’ve gone through the leveling campaign several times now up to various points and it’s been fairly smooth albeit minor hiccups. There is one quest apparently “Into the Machine” or something that bugs out at times. Overall though the quests are there, the zones are there, and even the world quests are there. It’s just polishing it up, putting in the rest of the maps, balancing, and fixing bugs.

Balancing can even be done for the first two weeks prior to season 1 to tweak more things.

You are right because as unstable as the beta builds have been the PTR for prepatch have been even more unstable. You are not a doomer for speaking the truth.

The truth is that this expansion need more time to cook and more players feedback to be taken into consideration.

The customer tend to know more about the product themselves and WoW players understand more of what needs to happen to fix the game.

BTW you are also a valued member of the WoW community.

they won’t delay it unless major features are completely broken (and influencers call them out on it)

If people can not finish quest chains and major campaigns that will be a big problem.

Just stating this now for future reference.
