I mean anyone who participated in what was obviously exploitative behavior yesterday should just be handed bans / gold should be deleted. Anyone who got involved in this stuff 100% knew they were cheating the system and exploiting the situation at the time, we all know and they know 100%. So because they acted on this and exploited the situation that is how it should be handled, when you speed you get a ticket so blizzard needs to do the right thing and delete the gold that changed hands and ban those who participated - this will be the quick fix and the server health can get on as it is supposed to. They knew what they were doing - this is the evidence that should be considered and remembered as blizzard takes action to fix this today - do not leave the economy in shambles - that gold definitely needs to be trashed at the VERY LEAST - but bans should roll out as well. The server does not need those personalities around anyway, better without them. Sorry not sorry!
You sound like a guy who wasnât able to get into an AV yeaterday
I personally think there should be visits at midnight from unmarked vans full of masked men pulling the whole household in the yard and searching the house for illegally-obtained gold on all devices⌠itâs the only way to be sure.
Provide an example with evidence, please.
What of the people who bought chronoboons off the ah for the normal 10.xxg not knowing they were from sod?
Accountability is a good thing.
Only sometimes do you get a ticket for speeding
Reality is blizzards not going to do a rollback or hand out bans for their mess up.
Yep, the ship sailed on a rollback last night. They would have immediately taken the servers down if they were going to do it. Id be 5050 on if some bans go out depending on how much of the stuff actually happened though. they have definitely banned people exploiting vendor purchases in the past. want to say it happened in that ogre daily area in tbc?
Stop crying about gold. Go play the game and have fun. Good grief.
I mean, people have always taken advantage of othersâ ignorance in this game. Often times people will put an extra â0â's worth of gold on an item for auction and people who donât pay attention will buy it.
Iâm not sure how you think this ruined the economy. Itâs not like this generated any new gold that wasnât on the server previously or something like that.
I saw people talking in chat about how âpeople who stocked up on 10g boons got screwed now that they are cheaperâ, I bought some in AH thinking that blizzard reduced the price on purpose, thinking I was dumb for just buying 15 (150g) of them 3 days ago from the vendor for myself. How tf am i supposed to tell the difference or whatâs going on? itâs a game, not a legal exam.
And you sound like one lf the ones that exploited
Comments like this are totally baffling. WoW is a game, and games have rules. They have rules for a reason.
Imagine running with a basketball without dribbling and the ref doing nothing about it. Or running a touchdown out of bounds, or kicking, or making two chess moves at a time.
I have no idea why anyone is here if they donât really want to play a game, donât want an enforced rule set, and where cheaters gain an advantage without penalties. Itâs not even a game at that point.
Yah. Also with the tbc honour/arena gear. But I canât think of anything recent aside from RWF bans and even then it was a âbetter not do this againâ ban that really didnât t make any kind of difference
Forgot about this one. Was total BS how much time people saved getting a full honor cap in before it was changed. and funny enough, the exact same mistake happened in the original TBC prepatch as well.
Touch Grass.
Why?
Outtis is a gold buyer and gets mad when people get gold without swiping, best to just ignore him
I was in my first AV picking up quests, figured Iâd buy some reagents while I was down there. Lo and behold a chronoboon was there for cheap. I just figured they lowered the price so I bought a bunch to stock up.
Sucks they are disabling them or whatever. They shouldâve just reduced the fresh classic prices - 10g is stupid.
And here we have the perfect example of Blizzard neglecting to enforce their own rules. You continue to harass and libel me and they do nothing.
