Trying this out and the improvement is night and day. This is MUCH MUCH better than it was. I feel like I am making progress and encouraged to participate in everything I possibly can. Thank you for fixing this!

I wish they’d start doing this from the get go instead of waiting for the community to rage, but I’m glad they fixed it fast instead of waiting for reset.

Yeah, Wowhead posted about things being fixed but didn’t fix their homepage.
And yes, much less. You can complete the ring in 3 hours if you can get the boss to spawn 3~4 times each hour.

You can spam the memories for the parts now so you can probably get the heirloom ring in 3 hours if you’re lucky.

The event completely failed for me in Dragonblight just after the changes went live.
The Searing Gorge event worked fine for me so it seems to have fixed itself.
MUCH easier to get now

The only slight criticism I have is that, if you are doing the event to level alts, the blues it drops are way, way too low item level. I’m level 48 and getting item level 67 stuff, while I got 158 gear from questing in Dragonflight.
Other than that, much, much better experience, basically fixed.

Events are now on a 1 hour rotation, quest is now account-wide and daily, event is spammable and rewards have been increased.
