The Eternal Palace hall of fame shows the damage Blizzard has done

Okey then =)

Good in my book.

This is true for every person on the planet though. I know I rub some the wrong way too.

I like when you try to be thoughtful and provactive. It’s cute. It gives me faith in humanity when even the least capable keep on trying.

I don’t know you. Stranger danger. :rotating_light:

Just gonna ignore your claim since you’re too lazy to provide a link. Also I can see you went the cherry picking route with dodging the rated pvp claim.

Don’t worry. I’d back out too if I were in your shoes.

Which you’re completely entitled to. Feel free to continue spouting wrong opinions as well. :man_shrugging:

I mean, what do you want me to say? “Congrats on pvping bro” ? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

He says while making claims that I’ve never done rated pvp without even glancing at my armory.

I mean avoiding it just makes you look even worse :joy: :joy: :joy:

Because I have exercised undue patience with the majority of horrible decisions Blizz has made recently with the game… but that is the final tipping point.

They have gutted, and gutted, and gutted this game. The ‘faction war’ is part of the original “heart” of this game that they haven’t sliced away yet.
They carve that out, well, there really isn’t much left of the game that pulled me in so long ago.

Odin knows that it doesn’t play like an MMORPG anymore.
Server communities have been nearly dissolved.
Guilds have been neutered.
Classes and specs have been bled into homogenized, simplified, blandness.
The writers have completely jacked the story and the lore.
Raiding has been invalidated.
The over-arching game community is constantly embroiled in ‘us v them’ bs.
Most everything to do in game is an endless, neverending, grind with no real stopping points.

This is less and less the game that enthralled me. And the more that is torn down… The less it matters.

So… That’s why.
Does that answer your question?

Shifts in population have happened over the years, nothing about what you said has anything to do with my logic.

Not really, all those things you mentioned don’t not validate a reason for having factions. All of the things you list could be improved without having factions.

I think that’d be a huge mistake. Personally would never look back on retail.

I feel like it is going to happen. Also, you don’t like retail anyway…

They’re eluding to it. And if they go through with it I’d be done with retail officially unless they reverted it.

I never made the claim, I just said “If you haven’t that’s okay” as in, I didn’t bother to scour your profile because I honestly could care less.

I’m not that invested in the discussion if you couldn’t tell by me being too lazy to find you the exact Q&A I was talking about…but I guess that’s hard to pick up for some people. :man_shrugging:

Uh…okay. :man_shrugging:

If they do it… It won’t be reverted…

You asked -me- why that would be the reason -I- left.
And I answered it.

Put on your critical thinking cap and reread my response.
Because you missed -my- point.

Sorry, when all of your reasons aren’t related to factions whatever. Maybe you should:

This is a great post and touches on a few things I’ve been thinking about while reading this thread.

First, it’s not like Alliance players are shut out of raiding or anything. We regularly pick up Alliance players. They faction transfer to Horde and move to our server. It isn’t a big deal. If you want to raid Mythic, that’s part of the package. A faction change and a server change are well worth it if it gets you into a good Forever Home.

Second, I’m surprised to see this thread at all. General Discussion is usually pretty predictable. Most of the time, it’s “raiders are evil, horrible people and raiding should be removed from the game”. And when it’s a discussion of something that hurts raiders, like removing loot options, it’s all “HA HA HA SERVES YOU RIGHT FOR BEING RAIDERS!!!”

But during the “world first race” when a new raid comes out, suddenly Mythic raiding is the most important thing in the world, because the same people trot it out as “proof that Blizzard hates the Alliance!” or whatever.

I guess we’re in the afterglow of the latest race, but I was still surprised to see a thread like this.
