The Emboldened is a primarily PvP guild [formerly known as Warforged Legion]. As a whole our goal is to participate and be an active guild in the Emerald Dream PvP community both in rated/casual instanced PvP but also in WPvP.
Our members have an interest in improving their own skills as well as helping others to explore and enjoy all aspects of the game! We do guild RBGs multiple times a week as well as having several members who play arena and many that just enjoy casual BGs and skirms! Our RBG team finished the final season of Legion around 2.6MMR with most of the team around 2.1/2.2CR.
In an effort to encourage all aspects of the game we have a growing RP community with in guild! Many of our members enjoy walk up as well our own small guild centered RP! We are also working on becoming more active in server-wide events!
The Emboldened is happy to announce we have a Heroic raiding tier of the guild now lead by our wonderful raid leader Kaarson! Our current raid roster is about 30 members with a few slots for subs and is closed currently for new members to join. The core raid team for guild meets Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 730 and goes until 1030 with a 10 minute break. We also have a regularly scheduled open raid run for Saturday afternoons. The open raid has no set roster and is open to all members in guild who are interested in attending and have appropriate item level.
The Emboldened is currently 8/8N and 7/8H.

[A Letter to Warforged Legion]
I joined Warforged Legion a few years ago now close to 4 during a dark time in my life. I had just gotten out of an abusive relationship of 8 years and was struggling to stand on my own for the first time in a long time. I didn't even join WFL in the best mindset to join a guild. I had 1 friend on Emerald Dream at the time and they joined and wanted me to as well which I did but I was a brat about it. I didn't talk to anyone and occasionally lashed out with a sarcastic or cutting remark here and there. Despite my attitude the members of WFL (some of whom are still in this guild) adopted me and showed me kindness and support with out knowing anything about me. I warmed up after a few weeks in the guild and started to at least talk to people and play with them that just opened a floodgate into falling in love with the guild as a whole. They weren't anything like what I thought they were like when I first joined they were so much more. WFL was a group of people who supported and cared about one another beyond the game and really wanted people to grow. Of course they trolled and they trolled hard when I first joined but they had hearts underneath it all.
After a few months in the guild I ranked up to an officer position and grew to love the guild even more and each person who joined more because I was doing most of our recruiting. This love I had for the guild kept growing and hasn't stopped a few years later now that I am the guild master. I want for everyone who joins this guild to be a part of a community, a family if you will. I want to help support and love everyone who joins to be better than they were yesterday and know they are never alone. I get that this might seem sappy for some world of warcraft guild but the truth is to me you're all more than your characters in game. You're each an amazing individual with so many wonderful and unique things about yourselves that I get to meet and know and see grow into so much more than any of us knew we were ever going to be. I just want to thank you for all that.
Thank you to those past in WFL who adopted me and held me together when I couldn't hold myself together. Thank you to those currently in WFL who constantly make me smile and laugh and even roll my damn eyes sometimes at the things you all do and thank you to those who have yet to join for giving us the opportunity to be a part of your life in game and out. Thank you.

In my defense, I don’t keep up with ED relationships and it was only due to her resurrecting me from my fall damage.
I rp as a panda, I’m already losing tbh.
Why the name change? Just asking because Warforged Legion is a badass name.
It's definitely a name we are all fond of and hold close, but over the past few months multiple times a day we have people message us complaining about members buying pilots, cheating, being trash bags in trade, and just other grievances and not once have these members been in our guild they've been in one of the 50 other guilds on Horde side with "War" or "Legion" in their name.
Rather than go on with this anymore, we've decided to embrace the fact that we've had a change in leadership and our guild members have been empowered recently both in game and their real lives working to achieve their goals!
In other words, its a PR stunt.

No, it's literally I'm just tired of people whispering me complaining about other Horde guild's members and thank you for the compliment.
I like the new name, well not as much as the old one (it was pretty cool) but its still alright :P. I personally would have sent those other guilds multiple strongly worded messages and a picture of me looking sternly at them until they changed their names.
I understand where you are coming from tho, it can be pretty frustrating to be in a guild that is constantly mistaken for some other guild.
Not sure why Phen is asking "What?" Due to it being because of other people complaining to the wrong folks due to similar names and it may appear to tarnish the Warforged Legion name. So, public relations ordeal.
Cari, yeah, I'd be annoyed too. Hopefully it ends. Are you re-branding entirely with new tabard, colors etc?
I won the contest to design the tabard for May, and that's what we have right now. :)

Well, we haven't wanted this name for awhile now, and figured it was time for a change, that was just an added bonus, I wouldn't have used "stunt".
I pride myself on being one of the final GM's of WFL.

Kudos to you guys for making the change. As someone who plays Alliance 98% of the time, I have often confused different horde guilds when telling my guild who is attacking. I even catch myself sometimes lumping you all together thinking your Warbound Legion and vice versa.
