A funny thing I just thought of is the elves of Azeroth potentially use all of the cosmic powers which is why we might be gathering to defend against the void.
Light-Blood Elves
Fel- Fel Blood
Death- San’layn
Void- Void Elves
Arcane- Nightborne
Life- Night Elves
Even though I see your point I wish it wasn’t so… I hate that my character and all Blood Elves had the light forced upon them. Such things should be a choice. No one should have a belief system/cosmic force forced upon them.
Forced? Blood Elves aren’t forced to be Paladins or Priests. They can even still be warlocks.
Putting Light in the Sunwell was after it had been perverted into a demon portal, which definitely had to be undone. Doing so didn’t even change everyone’s eyes to yellow.
So you would rather have the Sunwell remain tainted by both death (when Arthas resurrected Kel’thuzad as a Lich) and fel (Kael’thas using the sunwell as a portal for Kil’jaeden) magic?
I would think that the Blood elves would rather have a purified sunwell, even if said purification came from infusing it with the core of a dead naaru (M’uru) over it being tainted.
I would update the Night Elves, Nightborne and High Elves to Espeon, Void Elves to Umbreon and Blood Elves to…
Indeed I would have them be Flareon with the Elves of the Flame, Felborne and Felblood Elves also be Flareon.
All Fel is is Green Fire from the Twisting Nether that the Nathrezim ingested in order to infiltrate that Realm which later was used by Sargeras(after getting it from Mardum which was corrupted by the stuff by the Nathrezim imprisoned there) to empower the Demons of Mardum once he released them. Therefore Flareon is fitting for Elves corrupted by the stuff.
But espeon is psychic, which works with arcane and is an evolution obtained specifically by exposure to daylight and happiness, while blood elves ain’t exactly super happy, daylight is their stuff
