The Elf story line and a return to empire

I mean… during the runtime of WoW it was more like a toxic relationship. The races and factions realized from time to time that they needed each other to get things done and tried to commit to that. But as soon as the “peace” was restored and the big bad of the month gone, they fell back into old ways and realized that they otherwise had very little in common. The “cycle of hatred”.
I’m glad the back and forth with heavy wars between Alliance and Horde is kinda over for now. But that doesn’t mean that all smaller conflicts, differences and different political world views have to be gone too. These times it doesn’t feel like a strategic alliance, but more like everybody on Azeroth has the same opinions and feelings.

Welp. Guess we’re gonna burn down Silvermoon to get rid of Garrosh 3.0. Woo, what fun.

Regrettably yes. But while they may be allies, I wouldn’t say we’ve united with the orcs. At least not until they do something about those unfashionable shoulders.

There’s a difference between “both of our peoples will benefit if we get along and cooperate” and “we are one people, despite you having persecuted us for millennia”.

Who was Garrosh 2.0?

No offense, but they banished “you,” while others (Orcs) destroyed “your” land and killed dozens of “you”. (sry, I’m not that good at role playing on the forums^^")

I suppose Lin was referring to Sylvie.

She was insane like him but I don’t think she ever wanted a supreme race faction, so I don’t think that works for a complete comparison.

I don’t think we’ll get an elf faction in Midnight either. Changing factions and adding a third 20+ years into the game isn’t a good idea and would not work out well for PVP.

Yes, that’s persecution. Do try to keep up.

Fortunes of war. Again, I’m not opposed to being allies with the smelly orcs or the smelly elves, but I am opposed to having to come together in one glorious elven brotherhood and oppress everyone beneath our banner or whatever OP was talking about.

There will be no re-uniting the “Elves” back into one happy family.

So you think 20 years in - dont change anything?

No idea why it would affect PVP.

No it has not. We still aren’t even friends. So why would we be living together? Some people never get along. And that’s ok. Not everything needs to be sunshine and rainbows.

And if you’ve ever played PVP with three factions involved, you’d know how it impacts it. Especially in BGs where you go from 50% win chance to 33%.

No what has not?

The matches arent by faction

20 years has not changed anything between elves. Until Midnight where we are forced to come together to fight off the void.

High Elves will finally get justice for how poorly they were treated by the Blood Elves.

Thats fine. But thats not what i wrote.

What did you mean by this then?

Yeah there was another planet somewhere that we saw city states declining in favor of larger nations. I’m trying to remember which one it was.

Something about a woman whose face could launch 1000 ships.

Azshara coming back in Midnight to restart her elf empire.

A third faction

Luckily for me I carry 20 stacks of Vicks in my pocket at all times

:ocean: :dragon: :ocean: :dragon:

That would require us to all to get along. Which all elves do not. And I don’t think they are even doing that. They are just having people come together to fight the void. We were around each other for the Elisande thing but kept our space.
