The Dungeons are TOO LONG

If you want us to do these dungeons hundreds of times so we can work up to 15s and then get a full set of 210 gear, at least make all of them the length of MotS or less.

I agree the dungeons should take 20 minutes max to complete. Either remove bosses or split into multiple dungeons.

Also each 20 minute dungeon should drop an epic or two at the end.

wow… I remember Vanilla/TBC dungeons that would take several hours on normal for a group to complete, for a possible blues drop!!! and 30-45 mins is too long?

I agree. M+ is boring.

No it is not, I would like them to buff dungeon drops or make M+ faster/more exciting.

20 minutes is still too long and duh if you’re doing 10s it should take 20 minutes but nobody has the gear to do 15+ fast enough.

I agree. Dungeons should only take 5 minutes to complete and you shouldn’t have to travel to them. You should instantly teleport to the entrance.

If fact you should just be able to afk and max all of your gear to sit afk at the bank forever.

S3 bfa was the worst man. The stupid purple azshara emissaries would constantly kill my groups through the wall.

The rest of the game has fundamentally changed. Dungeons should also accommodate the modern WOW player. We don’t have 6 hours a day to play. Some of us want to be able to accomplish something even if we only have half an hour to play.

Right now it takes like 20 minutes just to get a dungeon group formed in the first place. Who has time for that?

I didn’t mean remove all the bosses, but maybe just have 2 bosses per dungeon and break it out into wings.

Those emissaries in Tol Dagor… yeah, good times.

That sounds incredibly boring. They break the mega dungeons up into wings, because they’re the only ones that need it.

Vanilla PvE content was mostly horrendous so you’re not helping your argument. The most popular PvE content in Vanilla WoW was Deadmines and the Scarlet Monastery hub. Huh, strange, those all have “modern” dungeon length.

TBC dungeons did not take several hours unless you were going full corpse cannon.


Tangentially related - I expect 9.1 to add a mega-dungeon that eventually gets split into a long non-linear 5-boss dungeon and then a short linear 3-boss dungeon, as that has been their pattern so far, and currently we have only 1 3-boss dungeon, 6 4-boss dungeons, and 1 5-boss dungeon.

those dungeons also weren’t meant to be endlessly repeated throughout the entire expansion.
