One of the best illusions in the game is the very first red one from MoP and there’s been few other great ones but Shadowlands illusions have been really lackluster.
I get that each season we get a new illusion instead of just 1 per expansion but atleast make one of the four illusions look great Blizzard, we got three and soon to be four mediocre illusions, they aren’t bad illusions but they aren’t great either.
People with toasters complained and now we don’t get shiny things.
Day 2556 of not letting people forget red enchant used to look way better and Blizzard nerfed it and made green enchant almost as good as old red enchant.

Ion’s dev team sees pvp rewards as a place to cut costs
in their minds, any good rewards need to be given to the giant pve grinds
they more than likely want to avoid complaints from PVE players about an actual decent reward, I mean they went out of their way to make the season4 one worse, its first iteration on ptr wasn’t great but it was an actual glow at least.
Hm? They make more illusions now. They’re just less intense because, as I said, they fragged toasters.
Yeah I mean more the armor sets
Based on the last two xpacs, I’m almost convinced they’re literally blind.
luckily there’s 6 particle density settings now, including disabled. they should revisit seeing this as a concern
They would know this if they actually played the game but you know what they say.

Yeah they should just make this one instead, it would look so significantly better than the last few seasons, for sure.
Yeah i’m lucky to have this one and i always transmog my weapons to make it as dense and bright as possible. I also just don’t play hunter because I can’t use the enchant on BM and marks.
It is pretty sad though. Pick color → make super bright like light saber. and we’re good.
