Three weeks doing absolutely nothing but looking at a talent tree (because I don’t care about PVP at all) and then two weeks killing myself to get the sets and to try out the new race/class?

Overwatch, sure, maybe. CoD might be a stretch, though. I know more people that have quit playing recently than have started.
I wasn’t even thinking about the event, 13 days also isn’t enough to collect all the prepatch transmog and that heirloom and gear up any alts left behind due to Bummerlands.
The more i dig into it, the lamer this announcement gets.

So, is 50-60 going to be faster come Tuesday 25th or no?
I just want to level up some alts before launch, but I was promised a quicker experience come pre-patch.

No, that change comes when Evokers come. Which is the 15th. So the first 3 weeks are basically pointless for alts.

Supposed to be an update to the PTR this week on them. Maybe the gods will eventually bless us with a blue post… But I doubt it.
As ridiculous as I think the Nov 15 timing is for evoker, Shadowlands content keeps the covenant powers/abilities. So even if you go back at level 70, you’ll still get the covenant bonuses.

I just hope the new loom “rare” drops aren’t THAT rare lol.
Feel like they’re pointless in general.
What “new” content is anyone gonna do after setting up their Talents and UI on the 25th? Hell even getting alts up will be better in the 15th with the events.

People will always find something to complain about. While yeah I do think phase 2 being on the 15th of Nov is a little short at least for the events. It gives blizzard time to actually figure out what’s going on with SL and Chromie Timeline stuff. Personally? I am excited either way. Let’s goooo!
They aren’t. That catch up gear and leveling and chromie time doesn’t come until Evokers and the Primal event. So you only have 2 weeks.

The PTR (10.0 prepatch) still has Shadowlands gold missions active at this time.
The Dragonflight Beta deletes all gold from the mission table (even for missions in progress)
So (assuming nothing changes at the last minute?) it looks like you might have a little longer to spend on your mission for money.
