The Dragonflight Pre-Expansion Patches Go Live Beginning Oct. 25

This is a shame.

There’s no reason to keep us locked into shadowlands with prepatch dropping.

Why is that?

Is anyone else really annoyed they are not releasing the Evokers until the 15th of November? I think this is stupid! Why wouldn’t you release the class on the 25th of October? what the hell, Blizzard? I have played wow since it’s original vanilla days and this company can honestly be so frustrating sometimes!!!

Meh, dragon people aren’t that great to play from what I’ve tested on beta earlier on but to each their own. That said, I’m also not that interested in the pre patch event sadly. Haven’t even bought the expansion. I guess majority that do like will be happy simply cause it isn’t shadowlands per se.

I started one in Beta… Sub Tauren Rogue, on 1 npc, i can kill them quick while keeping them stunned , have not done dungeons because everyone wants to do their old toons instead

I wonder if the Pre-Patch Events will be as buggy in live as they were in the first test XD!

Ok but since Season 4 is ending next week, Can we still get the Slime Cat mount from Fated raids? Are all raids going to be Fated? I do understand that KSM will be gone and the Pvp stuff

That could be the reason for them delaying part of the pre patch for a later date to make absolutely sure it is ready for release. As much as I am disappointed that I still have to wait to test out the new class since I am not in beta testing I will do so. It is important that when content is released it is working as intended.

feel like bait and switch with new class being pushed to next month… so what was point of of preordering for something saying going get early but you timegate bit ways from prepatch… royal sucks!

I’m almost certain they’re going to still be tuning evoker up until a week before their launch. Evoker isn’t exactly launch ready rn.

So November 15th for all the fun stuff. Although Tauren rogues are amazing.

It’s release candidate. Maybe during prepatch we get something?

So, the true pre-patch isn’t releasing until Nov. 15, and they’re going to be giving us less than 2 weeks to participate in the dungeon and Primal Storm activities before DF launches? Great… :dracthyr_lulmao:

They start at 58. I don’t think they need an advantage. But, there is a decent opportunity to get them some reasonable catchup gear (sans legendaries/set bonuses) from Nov 15th to Nov 28th (go live date for DF) either from raids or from M+.

The time it takes to get to 60 is about an hour-ish (it took me around this number on beta even with me wandering around and exploring). 12-13 days of getting gear (including the pre-patch event on the 15th heirloom and catchup gear) isn’t unreasonable.

So, if I don’t have shadowlands, but pre purchase dragonflight, will i have access to level up to 60 once the pre patch drops?

So we have less than TWO WEEKS to do the event: Uldaman, farming the 4 sets of transmog gear and try to have the heirloom trinket that is a random 4 parts drop.

I remember Legion and BfA lasting an ENTIRE MONTH, giving even casual plenty of time.
Would have it kill them to release the Primal Storms event at the end of October?

I am really disappointed by such stupid decision for a limited time ingame event.

Ion said in an interview months ago that the event would only last 2 weeks. It wasn’t delayed, it was always intended this way.
