It was said previously that there used to be Dragons in every color of the rainbow. The Violet Proto-Drake’s flavor text also references a potential violet flight. I want to know more about these other dragons.

“Dragonflight” where we rewrite the lore to justify the Dragonaspects being a thing which won’t be explained in game.
Honestly Im surprised anyone is still buying these lore re writes. I mean based on the mistake doesn’t make me believe the quality of writing will be any good.
I am not optimistic about the quality of this book. I have never bought, nor borrowed, any of these books because I have always been skeptical of them.
But as a simple matter of publishing, the people who write and check these blurbs are going to be wholly disconnected, since marketing copy is a distinct (if interrelated) skillset from book content and oversight.
The book is written by subcontractors who are possibly selected by Insight Editions (which specializes in this kind of IP frippery). They are fact-checked by CDev probably, then most likely handed off to Insight Editions for editing (~70% sure about this) and marketing (~100% sure about this, as otherwise Insight Editions would provide nearly no function). The marketing is probably drawn from a series of notes provided to Insight Editions well in advance and is going to be done by people entirely separate from the writing, editing, and fact-checking processes, as those are different skillsets. Most likely they confused notes from two different books or from a very different stage of this book. It’s rare to micromanage the marketers on the content stuff from the creative side of the process. Then convincing retailers to carry the book and physically getting the book into stores will be handled by Simon & Schuster.
