So Vellen do not even fight with the other alliance leaders anymore, they have basically two spaceships and still let the NE fight the damn horde by itself.
Also, Vellen is supporting every wrong field decision Anduin has, even Greymane looks like had enough of Anduin “strategy” (he goes help the NEs at Darkshore).
Even the damn void elves are doing something and you can see their leader helping around.
The Lightforge are just the first incursion of the light “corruption” within the alliance ranks.
Mark this troll words… the Draenei are a big problem.
Velen hasn’t been present in the war at all. He’s been resting ever since he got back from spearheading the assault on the capital of the Legion. The draenei presence is currently helmed by Fareeya, who is subservient to Turalyon, a loyalist of Stormwind.
The lightforged were lightforged even before the draenei joined the Alliance, and it’s not like they’re forcing traditional draenei to join the cause. Hell, they’re even happy to fight side by side with the void elves. I don’t think they’re as intolerant as people make them out to be.
Many draenei don’t even follow the light. That’s sort of the whole backstory of the Broken, a culture that is literally cut off from the light yet has been given refuge within the Exodar, allowing them to spread their shamanistic teachings to the rest of the draenei people. Wouldn’t ya know it, draenei shamans are the most common kind of draenei encountered.
I don’t play Alliance and im guilty of not paying much attention to our temporary ceasefires for the sake of plot, I must’ve skipped or zoned out for that part.
That just makes it even worse.
Isn’t the Genewhatever fueled by the three crystals we had to collect on Argus?
Exodar is permanently grounded, and much of its functioning components were salvaged to build the Vindicaar, which… after the Legion Campaign is probably stripped down and in pieces going through maintenance. At least, Blizzard should have written that it needed incredible levels of maintenance after the Argus Campaign that would require months if not years for refit.
The Vindicaar went to Argus. It was constructed from salvaged pieces of the Exodar, but the Exodar itself is still embedded in Azuremyst Isle.
The Lightforged had a ship as well, but it was shot down by the Legion. They were invited onto the Vindicaar and empowered with light energy, where it now serves as their center of command operations.
Regardless, I find it hard to imagine even with a limited fuel source the Lightforged wouldn’t use their assets to save their own allies from genocide.
