Blizzard let us fly like our own mount.
We travel from the starting area to the capital flying by ourselves.
No sense desition from devs, really no sense, no money sense,lore,balance,etc,etc,etc.
No thank you
And give us more transmog slots than shoulders and belt buckles, too!

I hate using flying mounts as a drakthyr, it looks so stupid ><
And every time I do the prepatch intro quests and watch them fly up into the air off the top of the Stockades, I get seriously cheesed.
Yeah really. It’s so silly staring at the perfectly good wings on my back while I fly around on a mount
Support your own race, dont use the feature if you dont want to.
If you make a druid you can choose between travel form or mount, we as dracthyr has this no sense soar with 2 charges to speed up and glide, we should fly normally
I didn’t think flying would ever be interesting, but using Soar from Mount Hyjal just to see how far you can go is actually pretty cool. Bet it would have been a lot better if they hadn’t nerfed the Soar speed.
An ability to fly would be great…or remove the CD from soar and allow our 2 soar abilities to regenerate so we can fly non stop
What does this have to do with money or balance?
We actually got help from another dragon to do that.

If I remember correctly, it’s just as fast as dragon riding on the isles now!
The problem is you have no way to mantain soar. Personally, I’d much rather dragonride as a dracthyr on the isles full time. Dragon riding is super fun and the soar plus dragon riding feels sleek and cool.
Possible Blizz answers, we cant fly because is not balanced with another races,etc
Your fellow dracthyr is correct. Big Yellow whisks you off the Isles with magic.
Definitely just want a Running Wild equivalent. A way to fly as Dracthyr with the same functionality as a flying mount. Separate from Soar. That’s a whole 'nother issue.
Nozdormu sped us up, we could have done it on our own, we just didn’t have the time. Dracthyr in town talk about how they would rather fly back to Dragon Isles rather than take a boat, too. We can, we have, Blizzard is just… I dunno. I don’t understand.
No, nozdormu gave us speed to get there faster, but he didn’t lead us by the hand.

Wasn’t the help made so they were sped up to be able to accompany a Dragon’s speed, not given infinite flying stamina?
If it’s the first one, it’s no excuse to not allow Dracthyr to be able to fly by themselves, just means they are slower than a real Dragon.
