Well, that tends to happen when you lock a class behind a race… they try the class, enjoy the class and hate the dracthyr… why do y’all struggle so much to grasp that? Why is it so difficult? Then y’all are fighting against it like some blizzard shills, offended that they don’t like the designed race… are you against freedom of choice? Why are y’all SO AGAINST there being a visage form that stays through combat? It doesn’t hurt you, it only helps people deal with being FORCED into player dracthyr to play a class they enjoy… y’all have no argument that is steeped in logic, just being obtuse for your own troll reasons.
Agree, especially when there are toys that let you stay human and it looks perfectly fine.
Glide on other classes is game breaking. You need to remove this blizz. The kb and mastery buff are enough but you’re also now giving a massive movement buff to classes that don’t need it. Remove glide from nonevoker dracthyr.
Just give us what we really want blizzard, rothide’s and murloc races. Delete that dragon rubbish and give us something good for once.
Next expansion: Murlocs vs. Rothides. BAM race war back on!
I hope it’s worth it.
I’m against class homogenization and immature players who don’t understand that it is limitations and restrictions that make classes interesting.
I’ve heard some dumb takes, this is up there with the dumbest. I can’t even imagine how daft you gotta be to call lack of maturity for not liking the way an in-game race looks and requesting something that that is visually more appealing because you like the class.
You have yourself a year and thank you for the laugh.
You’re requesting something that is outside the bounds of the class’ design space. It would be like asking for Blizzard to make Shapeshifting optional in the Druid class, completely ignoring that the purpose of the class IS shapeshifting.
Pretending to not understand that is where the immaturity comes into play.
Drac Lightwardens in the SW cathedral screams more paladin than priest blizz. Don’t tease us plz
Ok fine, can they make the dracthyr model look not terrible?
Oh yeah, for drake form all of those will hopefully just hover.
Hell I think the drac paladin steed should be deploying your own wings with a speed buff (i.e. hover)
Dracthyr are less scrawny than blood elves though.
This is great and all, as is the formation flying.
But can they please get more Mog options. Or the option to hide our armor and display the default armor we selected while in Dragon form? It kind of makes them look a bit unfinished when you have armor that displays on the visage form only to then have the waist/shoulders show on the dragon form which don’t match the default armor. I realize it would probably be a lot of work to retroactively adjust other armor sets. But a simple option to hide armor while in our dracthyr form should be easier to implement?
only if it’s possible to 100% mog in draco form. Visage is the only way to show off your gear… Gimme that and I do with visage free.
IMO this could be solved if there were more sets and the drake form armor was just based on the racial dragonflight sets (defaults are green and red, you get blue from Azure Span questing, I forget where Black is from and Bronze is datamined but not ingame)
Avenging Wrath, for sure, should use dracs own wings. It’s going to look weird to have secondary wings popping out of them.
I hope they apply a light effect for the wings, like it was done for Shadow priests.
Sure, that could work. They are creating a new set for the Dracthyr which I assume will have it’s own color variants. I looked up the black dragonflight vestments and they are from a quest called “With our Powers combined.”
That’s a great idea. I mean Dracthyr already have “Wing Buffet” as a knockback ability right? So it wouldn’t take much I think to be able to just have some kind of effect applied?
I remember my Hunter living in that place (along with the guild I was in), looking for the highest level of “Bite” for one of his pets. Some of those wargs or wolves in there dropped it.
Yea, I think if dracs simply stretch and keep their wings spread for its duration, that would be enough.
