Except players who rolled the Evoker class knew that it was locked behind the Dracthyr race, and that said race would be a major component of playing that class. It’s asinine to roll such a class then complain about the limitations of that class when you knew what they were in the first place. Some people rolled the Evoker class BECAUSE of those limitations.
Also it’s the height of entitlement and arrogance to believe that you know better than Blizzard who created the Dracthyr Evoker with a specific design in mind.
If non evokers can use racials in visage and not break visage then they should be able to fight as evokers in visage minus some spells like deep breath and rescue. Which should revert back when done…
Not talking about racials, I’m talking about abilities such as Deep Breath, Eternity Span, Disintegrate, Hover, Rescue, Verdant Embrace, Pyre, etc. that require a draconic body to look correct.
We’re not watching Avatar the last Airbender, we’re playing World of Warcraft. It may look decent in a cartoon, but that doesn’t mean it’ll translate effectively into WoW.
Also if they can just shoot it out of their hands, then we no longer have a dragon class. We have another Mage class, which we don’t need.
Not according to Blizzard. Blizzard created Dracthyr because they felt that existing races couldn’t properly convey draconic-based abilities. Not only that, but they reiterated that point last week saying that being dracthyr is an integral part of the Evoker class.
Why? Because they know that a non-dracthyr Evoker would look absolutely stupid and off-putting.
Yeah, because in the Evoker class Tail Swipe and Wing Buffet are stronger and are considered class abilities, which is why they have multiple talents attached to them. There are no talents for Wing Buffet and Tail Swipe in the Warrior class.
