I love the customization options of the visage forms, they’re basically everything I ever wanted for visage form customs and I can’t wait to be one. I love the fantasy of a Dragon aiding mortals in their fight to save the world.

The Aspects are always in their visage forms when interacting with us, so why wouldn’t Dracthyr?

I also love Soar, so I will be using my Dracthyr form and taking advantage of that. I just wish the option was there on the character screen to pick Dracthyr or Visage forms.

They’ll never make Dracthyr DK as cool as they deserve to be: a literal frostwyrm

tbh in DF they do have quite a few interactions in dragon form but it’s a big reason I switched to visage for every cutscene (and switch off the fancy horns with a ton of jewelry this expac)

(and while Wrathion fights in visage he’s also uselessly spamming living flame and sword autos when he does like your average visage’d evoker)

Honestly I’m looking forward to that more than the additional Dracthyr classes. The shaman ascendence form is laughably bad. It’s a terrible model that hasn’t changed in decades.

They explicitly said they won’t be doing this, and I agree. You’re using Dragon power, be a Dragon.

This has always been an implicit admission when it came to wanting visage forms.

They don’t like the race they were given. They want the “dragon fantasy” but do not want the race that Blizzard actually put on the table for them.

They jump through hoops to explain why they actually love Dracthyr but never want to see a Dracthyr on their screen. But it’s never very convincing.

Man I was hoping for Drachtyr Death Knight so bad, for them to do something cool with Sindragosa. But another character swept under the rug I suppose like the majority of Shadowlands lmao

The masculine form is a bit bulkier, with shorter ears, the feminine visage form is a more slender fem human with elf ears; basically they default to half elves for visage like Wrathion, Alexstrasza’s new visage and Kalecgos

You can be extremely in your face about being a dragon like Alexstrasza or just have the eyes and a few scaly spots (that get hidden under longer haircuts too) like the two boys.

I’m getting what I want and I’m happy. Dracthyr form is limited on the gear that you see, so until that gets changed (it never will) I’m quite happy with staying in Visage for the majority of my time.

No, the fact the game has been out for 20 years and they don’t want to fix every piece of gear in the game to fit on a Dracthyr Form is why it will never be that way. It’d take too much time to do and they’re not going to want to spend the money.

hmmm that’s pretty cool. Im curious if they are going to get their own unique combat animations in visage, Judging by the stances it looks similar to the elf races.

No Monk? No Shaman? No Druid?

Why? What’s the reasoning for this? I was really hoping to finally make an Alliance shaman on a race I’d actually enjoy playing. Dracthyr shaman makes more sense than Goblin Shaman…

Also you’re telling me, Dracthyr have learned how to use the light, fel and the arcane but they haven’t learned how to fist fight yet???

This I can kind of understand because Blizzard hasn’t released them to all races but Monks are released to all races. I don’t understand them leaving that class out.
