loved the first chapter but seeing Eben walk out of the darkness and seeing the Dracthyr model is just so lame… not this lanky argonian with wings.
they do share some similarities with argonians, don’t they?

I guess but Argonians and Lizardmen look sick, these Dracthyr just look terrible… not as terrible as their visage form i guess is the saving grace about them cause the visage form looks equally if not more terrible.

i guess man we are just in a point of time with peak dragon design from House of Dragon and other dragons in media then WoW is over here making these terrible monstrosities.
like i was worried that that Ceraxes would look terrible with her long neck, but the snake like appearance makes her terrifying.

I really don’t see the joy in the Drak’thyr. They look like a political message and less like DnD-dragon characters, to be honest. I will certainly play one but I don’t feel the “fantasy” with this race.
And the woman… she’s in every expansion. Female Orc, Johanna, OW… can’t Blizzard hire something new?

it is just sad cause we’ve seen good reptile races get created even the Sethrak looked fine and very fantasy… but blizzard had to go out and make whatever this is.

them being magi arent really the problems. caster lizardmen or caster argonians dont look flat out dorky.

They do look a little strange. But so do literally all the other anthropomorphic races in this game. The Dracthyr don’t look any more or less goofy than the Worgen or Vulpera to me.

Im happy were getting playable dragons at all, top of my wants. Tho ill admit i rather just had a 4 legged dragon, even if it was drake size like mounts we use). Tho im making change day 1.
