As title mentions, using The Devouring Cold sword Xmog (from Shadowlands) which has either a back or hip option… if you choose the “sheaths on back” option, it duplicates itself to be showing both on the back AND on the hip at the same time. I have tried multiple times to redo the xmog and never had a problem with it till TWW… now as a Death Knight using double 1H swords sheathed on back, it looks like i’m weilding FOUR swords, 2 on back and 2 on hips… I keep resetting it and it keeps giving me the 4-swords look. Please fix this.
This appears to be happening to me too, since the end of dragonflight. UI reload does not fix the issues.
I suppose it depends on your definition of “UI Reload”… if you just type “/reload ui”, no, that won’t fix this issue.
If you do what the instructions listed say (going into your folders, config, wtf, interface, cache, etc) and renaming them “old” and starting over, i did have success, with the caveat of losing all your saved settings on your add-ons (big pain).
Its important to rename the folders instead of deleting them in case you do this and it doesn’t fix the problem or you need to salvage some saved files from a particular add-on, that way you can go back if needed.
Im the OP of this thread and it did work for me, but it was a process to redo my add-ons.
To be fair, it’s probably just a caching issue and removing only the cache probably would’ve fixed it without interfering with addons.
To be fair, my install of wow is originally quite old with years of updates… i kinda figured i was due for a spring cleaning of my WoW install anyways and i wanted to reset my Healbot anyways.
But ya, its probably just a cache issue.
