"The developers disrespect the Alliance player races"

High Elves. They want to copy/paste void elves with a different skin tint.

So we agree that the Alliance is asking for a copy/paste with different skin tint of a race they already have?

Agree with the post OP but one thing ypu left out here - Blood Elves are an Alliance race.

That would have been fine if the Alliance got Pandaren, arguably a Horde race, but we didnt. And when MoP came, everyone got them.

So the Alliance has been getting robbed since TBC.

Cant speak for us all, but i do not want High Elves for the Alliance.

no we already have that. i think whats being asked for it an actual helf race with their own stuff, their own racials, their own mounts, like most races get. currently, i am still called void elf and asked to leave holy places lol thats so offensive

Isn’t majority of alliance humans and night elves anyways? Don’t think it matters what races alliance players get because you’ll never switch of them to play other options because the racials offered by humans/NE is superior, especially considering it’s heavy representation in pve/pvp.

The only disrespect I can agree with is mechagnomes was a mistake in execution and had potential to be a lot more exciting. Also I’ll gladly trade you guys vulpera for draenei for horde.

i heard dwarves stoneform is best.

When I heard there were new allied races I was excited to get something with a new silhouette… but it’s just rock candy dwarves. Super disappointing

Honestly as an alliance player it feels like we’re not even getting anything new. It’s another dwarf.

Slap some armor on them and you’d have no idea they’re earthen and not dark iron or regular dwarves.

I’m pretty sure Blizzard gave the females beards just so the race would have something interesting about them.

Overall it just feels like minimal effort

I’m wondering if each expansion will have a race. Hopefully the void one gives us ethereals or something

till ya see the bearded dwarf lady. hehe. yes the lady earthen will have a beard option. which i personally think is cool because it hearkens back to the tolkien meme. but otherwise, ethereals woulda been cooler, for both factions. everybody loves those flickering ether guys

Hopefully their beards don’t get treated like gnome eyebrows and disappear anything a helmet is worn

eek i didnt notice that and i have a few gnomes/mechagnomes

Mechagnomes are fine because their eyebrows are 2D

But regular gnomes use 3D eyebrows and they disappear if you wear a helm

At least for males they do. Idk about the females

Ah.

We’re pretty firmly past the point that should be feasible. I say should, because I honestly would not have expected Earthen.

If Blizzard does add High Elves in Midnight, I imagine they’d be neutral and either skinny like the original Blood Elf models were (the old SMC guards used that model), or alternatively they might be beefy like Nozdormu’s model. Since both the Horde and Alliance have the existing model, it’s too difficult to think they’d add it a fourth time as a second neutral race (Dracthyr visage form for men being the second time).

The better option (in my opinion) would be adding High Elven customization to Void Elves and Blood Elves, and then giving us Ethereals as an Allied Race in Midnight.

The allaince deserves to be disrespected… They accepted the mechagnomes…

well i dont have a mail, leather or plate wearing female gnome. they all wear cloth. and hoods/hats/headdresses do not remove their eyebrows. sowwy sil

/reprograms your testosterone matrix
