You don’t use your numpad? I have all those keys bound.
WAD gang sounds better.
Also Scroll Up/Down is the GOAT for a filler keybind.
Actually the best comment I’ve seen on this forum.
CTRL can be redeemed in the sense that it is there to hit and still work if you miss shift.

Insert, home, page up, delete, end, page(all these with shift as well)
[ , ], backslash, backspace, numpad 0, 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8
Enter is jump in every game I play

for movement wasd
for abilities: '12345 shift- '12345 qertfc shift-qertfc ctrl- '123 qer
I use wasd/qe for movement, 1-6, shift 1-6, and f1-f5 for abilities. Also f/g/h/r and shift + those for additional abilities
because my current razer naga’s dysfunction, i don’t have 2,3, mb4, mb5 or the scroll wheel bound to anything.
Personally i cant stand using the mousewheel for keybinds, it feels really awkward and unnatural to me, so i left it at the default zoom in/out, also i’m not a fan of the top row number keybinds so i tend to stick to the letters and other buttons near WASD on the keyboard, plus shift bindings, as well as thumb up/thumb down.
Do a bonus round for what spells go in 1-5.
Every character of mine goes:
Interrupt
Finisher/4-6sec CD big damage
Upkeep buff (slice, rtb, inquisition)
Builder/spammer
Stun
As a consequence I favour strafing left… I must be like D tier with the amount of extra work I put in to strafe right while spamming 4.

I agree but the best use of the scroll wheel I find is the scroll wheel click for targeting

Unless you are using a PC keypad… you are just limiting yourself.
My actual keybinds don’t matter… as all I have to do is configure my keypad to the games default keybinds and bam… a custom controller for each game. With 24 keys. Not including 2 extra mouse buttons (forward/ back).
Scroll wheel… it’s for suckers that don’t want to be able to control the camera while playing.
Personally I use ctrl modifiers and not shift or alt.
Like with ctrl i can just lazily rest the bottom left on my hand to press the key down while still having access to movement, 1-4, e, q, f, r.
With shift it is a little trickier to only hit shift and no other key (or worse you have to re-position your whole hand). Alt is a little easier, but you could accidentally hit space.
