The Deeprun Tram is the most powerful strategic asset on Azeroth

My point was that given that just part of the Horde required the other part of the Horde for the Alliance to beat them, the idea that the Alliance is some kind of unitary superpower that is the most powerful force in the universe is absurd.

I would argue that given that the force the Alliance couldn’t beat by itself joined the rebels completely intact the Alliance isn’t even necessarily the most powerful force on Azeroth.

Alliance is told they are super strong.
You are correctly recognizing the fact this does not reflect reality.

Either the messaging has to change or what is shown.

The Alliance is arrogant, more news at 11.

Yeah, like, the entire frigging Army of the Light joined the Alliance. Should be a bigger deal than it is.

Reading what Blizzard writes about them is arrogance now? I am confused, how is being told you are strong by the creators, but it not being reflected in game, and pointing that out, arrogance again?

Making allies in battle is not a sign of weakness, pretty much the opposite. It even showcases this by the Alliance and Rebellion Horde winning the war at the end.

Its Blizzard that says it.

Btw, OP unsubbed a bit ago. It’s weird that this got necroed.

The Kaldorei Army 101

  • Is attacked by horde on ground they’ve defended for 100’s of years.

  • Horde marches at night in a forest the Kaldorei live in, wnd can see perfectly in the dark. Somehow the Kaldorei just neglect to notice the enormous army marching towards them cause apparently they can’t see in the dark anymore.

  • horde and Forsaken idea of battle is to charge directly at people without grouping into battle formations. Most likely giving the one commanding said army massive rushes of utter confusion, and massacring any sense of cohesion. While the Kaldorei can just snipe Horde military officers and key personnel, leaving the attacking horde to route in utter panic as chaos unfolds among the ranks of the unwash degenerate levy’s cause they are being attacked by women who’ve been fighting before they came from their mother’s womb shooting them from flying mounts and trees.

  • Kaldorei never think to set traps and ambushes in the Battle of Darkshore warfront. Deciding to throw their already exhausted manpower into the meatgrinder to take back a stupid beach when their race is at knife’s edge and their main enemy during that battle was the Forsaken, of whom flat out ignore attrition cause they are undead. Throwing away literally every single tactical advantage they may have gained.

Horde still wins.

Tl:dr: Lore and common sense vs plot. Plot wins. Fatality
