Asking people to lock their doors when there is a thief in the area isnāt victim blaming. Issuing an Amber Alert for people isnāt victim blaming. Your logic here doesnāt make sense. You think this is a certain type of post but it isnāt. Nobody is BLAMING Asmongold. Weāre just stating the facts which is he is the intended target and if he took certain actions it would help the situation be resolved for everyone easier. Same how the police ask people to stay off the roads during a high speed chase.

i dont care at all about asmon, but what ur saying is asmon should stop his āworkā because some1 is targetting him. imagine a weather girl gets forced off the air if some1 started to hack the newsfeed. should people lose their jobs because there are bad people out there? what we need to do is just wait till the guy is caught.

Out of curiosity I went to check on that asmon guy on twitch. He was celebrating having a large spike in viewers because the attack had knocked other streamers off line (and I suppose some just wanted to see what the fuss was about like me).
I think he was watching some random youtube videos, and begging for subs, which he got.
After watching for awhile, itās obvious, asmon eats up the attention. He loves it. DDoSār failed to hurt asmon.
I laughed, I have a odd sense of humor.

This can actually happen.
But yes, I am not a fan of Asmongold, and it isnāt his fault. But he can take a day off, or go play something else and give the community a bit of a respite from the harassment.
If the community is affected by your problems, should the community keep suffering, or should you take your problems away from the community?
It isnāt victim blaming, its being self-aware of the affect you have on the community. The many shouldnāt suffer because of one.
One day away from streaming isnāt the end of the world for him.
However, There is nothing to say the DDoS attacks will stop if he doesnāt stream.
