Who else is looking forward to this?
I love video games that aren’t really hard/games where you have lives or get game over etc.
These games are like movies, with a choose your own adventure twist.
This releases on the 18th, figure I can get it and beat it before Dragonflight, as they only take about 5-8 hours. I beat all the other ones and also did Until Dawn & The Quarry.
Anyone know of any other games that are more story based kind of games? Always looking for new games for my PS5.
Personally my favorite kind of games but the stories are so hit or miss. My issue with Dark Anthology is that the two I saw BOTH did the “it was all in their head” ending, my most despised plot point. I have no idea how many came out after that, I refuse to touch them after being burned twice.
L.A. Noire is one of my favorite games of all time. Purely detective, and you can skip the car chases/shootouts if you want. A shame Rockstar turned to pure crap soon after that. What special edition are they making now? The GTA V epicly amazing definitive directors cut?
Really old game right? I think I played it on the original Xbox, before I traded that in for a new Gamecube back in that day 
If you played 2 of “the dark pictures” games, there’s currently only 3 so you only missed 1. I will say, the latest one before this one did not have a “all in your head” ending. But I also found it to be the most boring one in terms of story, and characters were “meh”.
Oh for real? I was hoping you’d have glowing praise for it lol. Hopefully the next one is amazing then because good games of that type are all too rare.
Nah so it’s called House of ashes, takes place in underground/secret old cave system thing. And the “scary monster” is basically Vampires. I just don’t find Vampires scary lol. The main thing I did like about the game, they made the button stuff easier. Instead of having to press certain buttons like X, triangle etc you just have to move the joystick in the right directions. So was easier to not accidentally lose people by me not ever being able to memorize the controller lol.
Ahh yeah I understand why that’d not work for you then, I’m not a vampire fan either. It can probably be done right but I’d be shocked if it was. I may one day try watching a youtube walkthrough of it to see what it’s like in the rare event I find it interesting.

While I do agree with Salim’s reasoning for calling them vampires. They’re technically aliens so I just see them as aliens lol
Yeah I called them “alien vampires” - honestly the whole alien twist just left me feeling confused.
My fav playthru to watch with House of Ashes had one of the guys playing guess it was aliens or vampires because of the logo being similar to Quake apparently lol.
This was on the main menu before they started lol
