So I rolled a new Dark Iron Dwarf Warlock and spent a lot of time last weekend leveling it to 50.
Monday morning, I think it was 2:30am I headed into the Dark Iron Dwarf starting area and picked up the quest to get this started.
The two mob kills were not a real problem they just took a long time because of the low damage a level 50 makes.
That quest chain completed, next came the weapon.
I did that and immediately got the weapon and It did not take long.
Then the mount was last.
After getting all done there were two things in my bag that I had to open. One, I think was for the weapon and I have no idea what the other was for.
Right clicked them both.
I have the weapon mog equipped and it looks really good with the gear mog I chose with my set items.
Before all this started I had 3 sets of gear mogs.
As for the mount, I already had that from another quest chain, unless it is different and I did not get that either.
Most Ensembles require you to logout and log back in to register.
The heritage armor transmog get awarded when you reach level 50. It should show up under your Set tab in your appearances menu
In my original post I said that I was level 50 on that Dwarf before I started.
I have logged back out and in ( I do not play 24 hours)
“A riding mount.”
Implying the existence of a non-riding mount.
I must ponder on this for some time before I am ready to resume ordinary life.

Guess it’s time to teach Shreds about the Gryphons and the Honeyback Harvesters.
No ranged weapon mog for them I suppose
Did you get the achievement? I can’t access your armory, says it doesn’t exist. >_>
I have no idea if I got the achievement. No armory because this is a really new character. Blizzard is really slow at getting these done and keeping them current.
I have a 60 mage that has an armory that says I am still level 53. Been level 60 for months.
Can you check in-game? It’s an account-wide achievement. Should be in your recent achievements.
Usually the heritage armor appearance is at the bottom of my completed sets list when I’m at the transmog vendor
There weren’t any additional armor mogs for that questline. Just the mount, the axe and a staff.
Nope, there is no ranged weapon love in the Lavaforged Armaments.
They are nice, the only thing I don’t like is they are level restricted to lvl 48. I can deck my new DIs out in the armour but I gotta wait till 48 to use the weapons, which is just frustrating.

Agreed I cant wrap my head around the Blizzard perspective on that decision.

The weapons aren’t even restricted to Dark Irons - you can use them on any race - even Horde.
The mount however, for some reason, is restricted exclusively to Dark Irons.

On a similar topic I had something odd when I race changed the other day to a DI to do the quest line.
I was swapping from a Dwarf who was wearing the Dwarf Heritage armor prior to the swap and I assumed after the change I’d be in the DI Heritage set which I earned back in BFA.
Instead, when I did the race change my DI was wearing a very cool set of armor on the character select screen that I had never seen. I forgot to do a screen grab and when I logged on I was in an un-mogged state and I couldn’t see anything in my appearance tab that matched what I saw.
I know that’s not a lot to go on but can anyone shed light on what I may have been seeing?
