The "Dapery" situation

  1. Was it Intentional or Not?
  • Plunder Storm was released March 19 and ended on May 1, 2024.
Gameplay was fun & fast pace. A Blizzard’s take on the popular Battle Royale Genre only time will tell if and when it will ever returned, cleaned and polished.
  1. I first thought It might of been some Mandela Effect.
  • That was until I went back and watched " Get Ready for the Plunderstorm | WoWCast " at 10:26 into said video of you clearly show the “Plunderlord’s Finery” with the cape affect at full show on a feminine orc.
  1. It’s frustrating!
Having to spend countless hours, even asking for time off at work.
Just to Achieve Renown 40 for “Keg Leg’s Crew” because the affect made the set in my opinion it feel like a space pirate!

  2. Closing.

  • Please give is the option to toggle on or toggle off the effect with another cape. Especially If we earned it other wise to me that’s false advertisement.

Thank you for your time until next time. - DrakinaTheHuman.

Pretty sure it was always unintentional that the cape had the effect, mostly because it doesn’t fit the set thematically, and also because it was the exact same effect as a different cape (Celestial observer’s starshroud).

But blizzard have changed other sets in the past in order to make them fit better, eg: bones of the bloodhunter had their feet changed where they now have anklets

Still wish the option was there you know what I mean?
Lot of time spending for a mog that no longer has the affects you wanted in the first place.
