Another hallows end almost gone. Blizz you need to come up with a coin a year after 5 years get the mount or something. I have been doing this event for a decade on multiple toons everyday and have never gotten the mount. Other rare mounts you can farm year round so Ive never cared that lich king took 3 years or alar took 4 years etc. But this event doesn't reward loyalty its a dumb luck factor. I mean a decade of grinding this event think about it. I don't want the drop rate increased to 100% but id like to see the mount drop before I die of old age. Or at least know in 5 more years of the grind at least I can coin it or something.

People get angry when they don't get what they want -- I have a number of mounts I haven't gotten after many years. It took me about four years, or maybe five, to get the Headless Horseman mount. I have spent longer trying to get the Ashes mount and still nothing but I've also gotten Elegon, Invincible, and Mimiron's Head in the meantime.
If they updated the mount with a shiny new model I'd be more inclined to actually farm it, but as it stands its 'meh' at best for me.

I feel the same way.
Got mine after 9 years of farming and never use it.

I am not angry at the OP and his post. I just see these posts a lot about how everyone feels since they have done the event for 10+ years they deserve the mount and want Blizzard to make it easier for them. No one deserves anything especially this mount, its random luck. I was not mad all the years I did not get it and jut accepted it as it was not meant to be.
I think there needs to be a 200th kill bad luck protection on things. On your 200th kill the system should just give it to you. Cause it's a video game and no one should be farming for 9 years on one thing.
I'm not mad I'm frustrated. There is nothing in life you can't achieve if you work hard and put the time in. It's called an event. My 10 year is to point out I don't lack the commitment to try. For heck sake people playing wow now a days were 2 and 3 years old when some of us started grinding that mount.
I would like Blizzard for holiday themed events to consider a coin system so in a few years you can accumulate coins whatever and still get the mount that 8 try's a day for years hasn't yielded.
But to imply I'm whining is a joke. When you have done everything you possibly can on your end there is nothing wrong with trying to see where compromise can be reached.
