So bad as a matter of fact that most people would rather level in classic and add an imaginary challenge to it. Why do they refuse to put any effort into the leveling experience?

Would you use the same argument for the people who only leveled through pacifism?
People do things for fun. Don’t get me wrong, leveling is not exciting… But i’m glad it’s fast

Hello, I see you posted a thread about leveling. Because if they made it longer, more challenging, etc., they would be inundated with complaints, haha! Retail and Classic players are completely different species!

Leveling is arguably the most enjoyable experience*in the game currently, with the rest of everthing leaving a lot to be desired. You get to level in any old zone.
I’d have HC-era liked since its really a no pressure game.
Besides living 1 more level to 60 anyway lol. A personal pressure not forced by the evil overlord named…meta!
Its not the leveling per se. I didn’t like 1 to 60 when I started retail late legion. Classic its not loved either lol.
Hell,it took me almost half a year to finally get a hunter to clear 60. and then I spammed the hell out of CTA weekends to reach 73. and I spam CTA AV this weekend to hopefully close the 80.
Its the thrill of 1 more level no death in classic era.
and…most of the crap retail and wrath cares about isn’t in era.
GS+parse or raider io…not a concern.
Raid slots? what’s a raid lol.
gear…we all run trash greens and vendor “trash” or self crafted, also trash to most standard lol. And its all good.
Its jsut chill really. it leaves the stress mongers in the other wows lol. its appeal to me anyway. Era-classic is simply just live lol.

I think they like when leveling is bad because people can powerlevel each other and increase boost/token sales 
If leveling was fun, people wouldn’t pay to skip it!

I actually love the leveling in retail. I relevel ever class each expansion and for the classes I enjoyed the most I do it multiple times during that expansion.
I also do it mainly through quests with little exp on the side from the odd pet battle or gathering profession. Reading the stories and learning about the npcs I come across has always been great for me (until Blizzard decides to randomly remove some quests or alter other ones…).

Every leveling experience is bad, leveling has always been the absolute worst part of this game.
I enjoy the leveling experience quite a bit. It’s a nice change of pace from all the go go go.
What? Leveling is literally the worst aspect of classic.
