Using the Creation Catalyst to fill in any missing set bonuses and/or collect transmog of raid sets.
Iām assuming people messed up their gear because of this portion of the main announcement and did not see what you quoted because its NOT in the main post.
EDIT: I stand corrected- the most important info about which gear will result in a set bonus IS in the main post. Itās at the end of the paragraph right above the list of how much it costs to upgrade gear that people shouldnāt be upgrading anyway. Love that!

I feel the same. I wasted my first charge on wrists thinking that it will count for the bonus, but no.
Donāt feel bad about that. I did the same thing with my Demon Hunter and have created a silly joke from it as a result.
Reading is hard sometimesā¦ Especially when you sacrificed your eyes for fel powers.

Does this include season 3 BoEs that drop from the raid?
I noticed there is a BoE 265 leather helm on the AH. I am thinking about buying it and using it for my Druid to turn it into a 265 ilvl tier helm at the catalyst thingy. But I havent bought one, incase BoEs dont work.
This is so disappointing.
On my main non-raiding alt, I have plenty of sandworn relics, and Iām maxxed out at 6/6 cypher power. All the gear dropping for me in the zone is 252. And yet I have to take one of those 252 slots I worked for, and sub a lower item level sandworn relic item in to get the tier bonus.
Is this the end of the world? No. But itās incredibly disappointing and not fun. Blizzard KNOWS people want the tier pieces, and we want the looks they advertised when they announced 9.2., and they know we canāt all raid in Normal level raids or above on twelve characters each week. Sandworn gear was a great way to accommodate this; they should have simply let sandworn gear scale up to 252.
Thatās a no-brainer, which is why itās so utterly baffling that Blizzard isnāt seeing it. No, we have to run the gear gauntlet so they get paid monthly. What a waste.
4pc is 100% better than the measly stat increase that six ilvl would give. And then again you are limiting yourself to those items. Thereās pvp, raid, m+, they all have the potential to be much higher than sandworn.

This may have already been answered, but will alts who hit 60 weeks after the creation catalyst was made available start with multiple charges, or will it start accumulating charges from the moment they are able to access it?
This was answered a while back (albeit not in this thread), but yes. If you make a fresh 60 itāll have all charges that existed leading up to that point.
Next week I will have 4pc, after two months I will be able to start enjoying the game. thanks blizzard

Did the quest to discover the Creation Catalyst from Vilo disappear (The Catalyst Awakens)? I did it on 4 alts yesterday just fine, but today I donāt see a quest on any of my other alts I took out there (it rewarded like 500 cosmic flux, so was hoping to get it on all my alts)?
Strangeā¦ Iāve been enjoying the game on a bunch of characters up to this point, most of which have 0 tier.
My main has terrible RNG, in 3 more weeks Iāll have 4 piece. 
I know the feeling all too well.

I came here to post a similar comment. Sand relic gear feels bad for mail wearing classes. At least Antros has ilvl 259 drops for cloth wearers that can used in the creation catalyst to make set pieces for the 2/4 piece bonus. By the time most players are able to buy sand relic gear, they should be at least close to obtaining ilvl 252 gear from the zone.
I donāt have the time or skill to do much more than LFR. Picking between ilvl 239 items from the great vault doesnāt feel great either when your ilvl is 254. Iāve picked tokens almost every week.
So I am a bit of an idiot and used this on some boots thinking that the bonus would apply but it doesnāt.
It seems like itās an implied feature but Iām kinda sad.

Whatever happened to the timegating lessening overtime? No mention of it here, and itās still at 1 week. Did they actually nerf creation catalyst after everything despite everyone asking it to open sooner or lower the timegating??? SMH. 3100 io and still 0pc, too afraid to craft even 2 pc now because it could cost me a week if I get a tier piece in my vault for once in 8 freaking weeks. Do I really have to wait 2 more weeks for 4pc, this is getting absurd.
