Considering the min/max mentality and that logs is a thing I woulda figured even with the content being easy that people would still be using flasks for MC/Ony. I guess though if you have to count on paying for them rather than making them yourself its not worth the cost but it is what it is.
People got wise. Thatâs why the only people who are making money are AH botters and people who get certain items that every stupid DPS warrior with bought gold is going after.
Flasks will never be worthless. If they were that cheap on my server, Iâd be snagging all those up for Titans flasks for wPvP and eventually, BGs.
Think itâs silly to use a flask for pvp? Imagine everyone of your opponents on a premade WSG having an additional 1,200 hp that you donât.
The fact that flasks donât expire on death makes them the buff consumable best suited for PvP.

Yea I can back this, if a full raid is geared it can run Naxx without a problem, Vanilla is really cool and well designed but the best gear makes flasks kinda useless. Just sell elixirs, mana pots and resist pots like the rest of us!
Go check out Felstriker sometime. Remulos Horde side has one guild in MC and two that have killed Onyxia. Loatheb has 6 guilds that have done Onyxia, both factions combined.

Even back in the old days, you could clear MC/Onyxia without hardly any consumables. With BWL, AQ40 and Naxx, I sure hope you brought flasks.
Why is Engineering tied to being a âZoomerâ? Is this supposed to be an attack on players that utilize Engineering?

I believe its because engineering is a profession that adds dps from its consumables that you need to be an engineer to use. Meaning if youâre trying to progress, engineering is pretty much a sure pick.

If anything, flasks are more valuable now than before with the hardcore guilds that speedrun MC and Ony. Just clearing the raids only means your guild isnât trash tier, but the sign of a solid guild is clearing MC in less than 2 hours right now.
I donât know whether youâre actually asking for anything or just venting your annoyance, but why not hang onto alchemy until BWL is released at least? Thereâs a reasonable chance that things will pick up then.

Yeah, as already stated this is like my 4th wow account. You can believe me or not, I donât care. I played vanilla, the game was bad and easy.
I even got grand marshal, which was a huge waste of time. Iâm sorry grey parsing vanilla players get upset when you state basic facts about the game.
This is just outright false lol. Like as the content in the game got harder every xpac the average playing level increased.
This was especially obvious in PVP.

Current endgame is tuned with the âcatch-upâ version. MC was a gear check more then a player check as it has little mechanics. So while players being better does have some impact, but not to the degree we see now. Being able to pug MC with most having trash gear within 2-3 months of the game released shows this.
The itemization is from the 1.12 version of the game. Lots of existing gear got buffed/changed/added over the course of vanilla. They should have emulated the itemization to give people incentive to run older raids when new ones come out.
I believe some of the really good items were added to MC when BWL was released to keep people running MC allowing new players more chances for spots.
Now that all those items are in the game, when BWL is released there will be no reason go visit MC since all the gear was available from the start, unless you are still after that legendary.

This, FAPs have skyrocketed in price today alone, fishing oily blackmouths on a lowbie today made me over 100g, if you can make them they should only go up with P2 next week.
If you want to make money, then do that, if you want to make flasks, then do that, but donât complain that most people arenât going to buy flasks until they decide they want to parse.
Itâs only knowledge. Players arenât better, just much better informed. WoW isnât an action twitch game, and never was. Being decent at your class is all a matter of knowledge.
