The Community Problem with Toxicity

Think the community does indeed have a fundamental problem with toxicity.

The problem is people don’t know what the word “toxicity” means.

I’m concerned the word “toxic” has lost all meaning. It’s been diluted and it’s time we as a community address the toxicity problem.

Let’s remind people that both Google and dictionaries exist. People don’t have to keep on misusing this word. We can be better.

Now do “edgy.”

Somebody told me I was being toxic when really I was just being unfriendly, so I took their mom out to dinner.

Real toxicity starts approximately 10 hours after eating Taco Bell 4th meal.

Same problem with the term noodles. I’m sorry but Pastina might pass the test for pasta in general but are not actual noodles. Quit abusing the word.

Nah from posts on these very forums it is very common for people to view toxic antisocial behaviors as normal.

Decisions made with zero concern for others is indeed toxic.
It seems to me WoW just has a lot of people with personality disorders playing thinking their behavior is okay.

If there was a spectrum of vibes, yours is on the opposite end from where I’m at

See the post above yours.

That’s what we’re doing here.

People who decline me from keys are toxic elitists. :dracthyr_love_animated: :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated:

Should we make a new word to replace toxicity to give it a little refresh?

You say toxic has lost meaning due to non-toxic things being labeled as toxic.
I say it is the opposite in that people think toxic things are non-toxic.
The community lacks the ability to define toxicity because they are so toxic they read toxic behaviors as normal.

Everything I don’t like is toxic.

Ima go with “tossity” cause I imagine a lot of the people who abuse “toxicity” are toddlers and “tossity” is how I imagine a toddler pronouncing “Toxicity”
