I dunno what to tell you. Either you weren’t raiding or you were on like an RP server or something. The raiding scene was cutthroat AF back then. If anything it’s much more relaxed now because its so much less competitive.

I’ve always been a PvP’er and Vanilla was the best era of WoW wPvP imo, next to that I would say Timeless Isle in MoP or Isle of Quel 'Danas in TBC. Mainly cause you couldn’t fly.
