I haven’t played in a while and today, I finally decided to log back on and do some catching up on dailies. You can’t even make a comment on anything before someone starts to troll you “u cry too much” or “stop crying” just because I asked why they started the Huokan fight when the entire isle was on an elite rare in the sand area. I didn’t cry, I didn’t whine… just a question. What is happening to this game? Are all the adults gone to other games and we’re left with kids?
Yeah this is what happens when you fire all the GMs and automate everything instead of moderating your already toxic community
It’s just so sad to see this.
Ignore, report, move on.
The issue is it’s not a reportable offense. They’re just trolling to own you or something I guess? It’s just irritating to see people behave like that for nothing.
Why does it matter when they summon it people can summon it once a week so there will be more
asking about it just sounds passive aggressive
People have no obligation to wait for everyone else to start on the Huokan fight. The problem lies with the design of the zone and much less player behavior. I would complain to blizzard for not spacing out the timing on the rare spawns better or not showing spawn times on the map.
The only thing worse is Talonel’s daily “make X gay thing” thread.
Usually when I see people make threads about everyone else being toxic the people making this claim are the toxic ones, they start name calling and getting really offensive towards others.
People, in general, are more sensitive today than they were 20 years ago. That’s not this game, that’s society.
Idk I thought this was an MMO, my bad? I want to play solo and I’m told I need to find friends and group up… well it’s kinda hard when this is the attitude you get in game when you just ask a question. I wasn’t being passive aggressive. I genuinely am curious what goes on in someone’s head to think “yeah this is when I’ll summon the boss when everyone is all the way across the isle”. I always gave people a 5 minute timer to summon him when I did it before. But that’s just me. Oh well… moving on.
Ignore and move on then.
thats more passive aggressive and I dont know what an mmo has to do with it because there are more people in different places than at your rare you were at because not everyone cares about the rare you were at
They could of made a group in group finder for it or zoned in after the alert for the dunes or just didnt care and were helping friends you dont know and no one is beholden to you
Moving on…
you said that already and still havent and just gave more passive aggressive
I guess we know who was the problem and why you got annoyed comments
Honestly I took a breather from the forums recently and found a lot of the “toxicity” vanished, certainly didn’t find it in game. May have a different idea of what I find toxic though.
You can certainly vent about missing a rare but maybe the folks that snapped on you have just been hearing those sorts of comments all day long? Who knows for sure.
Maybe a guilds a better vent space.
THIS. I was so happy with the ICC pre-patch spawn timer cause it made things so organized and you could actually plan your schedule based around specific drops. They even added a protective aura that gives people time to travel to the rare once it spawns.
Then they back-tracked to whatever format they’ve been using.
If you take breaks from the forum you won’t even know what to be mad about.
Honestly, at this point, I actually just do LFR specifically to look for people fighting where I can just sitback relax and enjoy the show
Exactly.
I was feeling awfully optimistic and cheerful lately so I thought I better see what I’m suppose to be upset at this week. FOMO, right?
The Hirukon entitlement I see here and especially in game is absurd.
If you care so much go invest the gold or hours of fishing into getting the goop and get your own lure.
Spawning a rare you put effort into unlocking is not toxic just because they didn’t wait for strangers.
