I realized the matrix real young. People say they hate slavery but don’t even stop to think well what exactly was a slave? It was someone forced to work and at the end you would get food and a shelter. Now they have you work for money and most people spend nearly all their money on a house and food. Lol slavery has not gone anywhere my friends. You just gotta find the right move on the broken chess board

Money is a substance they can literally print as much as they want of and you are willing to give up your life for this substance they can print an infinite amount of what else do you call it. Again as you spend nearly all of it on food and shelter
That’s also not slavery lol. I can stand up and walk out of my office right now and no one is coming to chop off my hands or feet. If I don’t like my job I can leave and find another one. If I don’t get paid enough I can enter into salary negotiations or, again, quit and find another job. Of course, I need to spend my money on food and shelter. No one is just going to give you that, and that’s never been the case. You know what else I spend it on? WoW. The computer i’m typing on. I just bought my wife a new car. I just paid to send my oldest to New York. I finally paid for the ad-free version of Hulu because I’m tired of loud commercials waking me up in the middle of the night.
If you have a problem with capitalism then that’s one thing. But slaves aren’t on the internet making silly comparisons. They don’t have computers.

I’m glad you have a good job and can do that. And yes they may give you shiny toys to keep you blinded but the fact your working for something they can make as much as they want of still makes you their slave. you can print infinite pieces of paper that represent value, but you can’t infinitely reproduce value, work has to be done somewhere for value to be made.

idk, we’ve been running on a zombie economy for a while, once people saw the market crash in 2020 with the lockdown and it didn’t affect them personally, all bets about the stock market are off, its no longer a useful indicator of the economy.
on top of that massive inflation means the best thing to do is spend your money, so if the market is headed for a crash (which is uncertain with unemployment so low), then everyone is definitely screwed as nobody has any savings.
the general issue is that we haven’t seen an economy like this before so pretty much every opinion is just as valid as the next, warren buffet doesn’t know anymore than you or i.
I think you just have a lack of experience in this field and are clinging to a louder-than-usual influencer and taking their word as fact. As inemia said, you can print off as much as you like sure. That would devalue the dollar. The powers that be do not want to devalue the U.S. Dollar because then no one wins. Inflation is at a high and prices have risen but many companies have increased their pay accordingly. In 2019 our lowest position was paid $15 an hour. As of right now, that position is currently at $20 an hour.
