I, for one, cannot wait for a civil war amongst the Goblins with the subcategory of Star Wars or Star Trek fan.
One side worships profit and their Sith code.

I mean, Gazlowe is pushing really hard with Noggenfogger to prove a Goblin can be on top without being a self-destructive tyrant because Goblin society is so dog-eat-dog, ‘show weakness and you’ll be eaten alive’, everyone is over-extended and has no reserves-levels of hyper-capitalism that any attempt by anyone else to show that they don’t need to engage in corporate slavery, strip-mining and so much corner cutting that a square starts to look like a circle just to hang onto their positions by the skin of their teeth would be stabbed in the back by the first person that noticed.
Having Gazlowe and Noggenfogger engaged in a brutal fight to the finish with the other Cartel leaders who are so entrenched, and traumatized, by their society and the means by how they climbed over bodies to get to becoming a Cartel leader would be a very enjoyable patch of content to go through.
Goblins do look at the numbers, and if Gazlowe can prove his method not only works, but works better and results in less uprisings and unnecessary worker deaths, the bulk of the Goblin population might shift to support him, which could push the hardliner Cartel leaders and Trade Princes to double down in retaliation and fear because it is just such an alien process to them now that they can’t reconcile that this change will benefit them.
They can’t see this as anything other than a scam or a ploy or a setup, because its what they’d do, and its what they face every day, from everyone, because its just the way it is.

While you may be an impressive figure for a goblin, i will remind you that you are only a goblin, and looked down upon by the mjority of the horde.
A joint venture with the goal of maximizing profit, while undercutting your peers. Is by and far a better choice than simply hoping you and your cartel have enough resources.
