So normally the trend for wow is.
1xpac new races 1 xpac new class. Example
Tbc new races, wotlk new class, cata new race, mop, new class and race, (wod was wod) legion new class, BFA new races, (SL i think there was some new allied races could be wrong but it breaks the pattern) DF new clads and race, then TWW new race.
So midnight should have a new class then if the pattern continues unless its gonna be a wod/SL with no new class/race and then the last titan will have a new class and race.
What do you guys think and what race or clads do you want?
Tuskar is the only race i want tbh class wise idk

You didn’t even get through the first paragraph before you got to the truth. There hasn’t been a pattern. Mists was race and class, WoD had nothing.

I don’t necessarily think they need to add a race. Rather they take longer to get to a unique race than say change the arms and legs of a gnome and call it a day (no offence meant).
I mean its mostly been a pattern outside of wod. WoD was just bad outside of its 3 really good raids
Outside of WoD, DF, SL, MoP
So 4 out of the last 6 expansions, the pattern has not held.

DF had a new race. MoP had a new race.
It depends on the theme of the expansion.

Considering we’re getting Dirt Elves this expansion, and since the next chapter is dealing with more elves, I’m going to wager the outlandish idea that we’re going to get more lame elves.
Gnolls? Saberon? Arrakoa? Nah, those would require effort.
Slightly tweaking an elf took look like an elf, but slightly foreign? Yes, please, say the artists.
I don’t feel like Gnolls are remotely intelligent enough to be considered playable, I don’t know much about Saberon. Arrakoa? Hell yes. Give me my ripoff Skeksis!
Though, I kind of just want Sethrak the most.

What’s holding back Midnight in terms of introducing a new class is the simple reality that it is elf based and void based, and those concepts are rather crowded in the class lineup. The only viable option would be Wardens with a dash of Spellbreaker, but I seriously doubt Blizzard wants to release another elf-based melee class that uses Warglaives.
The more viable option is more allied races in midnight alongside player housing. That would mean the next most likely candidate for a new class drops in The Last Titan. My bet for that class would be a Titan-themed Tinker class largely based on Mimiron.
I still want Ogres. And would have taken the upright Nerubians or the Haranir over the Earthen.
I think there is no discernible pattern, other than on average we get a new class about every 2.5 expansions. New races are a complete mixed bag. I would expect one new class either in Midnight or TLT, and probably at least 2 new allied races somewhere along the way.
I would prefer none of that though, and get more customization to existing races, and a fourth spec for classes.
perhaps rather than a new class i would be interested to see 1 new spec for each armor type. melee mage, tank shaman, mid-close range caster/dps dh, healer dk
Personally I don’t think we will (or should) get a new class so soon.
And even if we did it’ll probably be another melee
As for races, I just want something cool. I’m tired of every race being goofy and silly.
Dracthyr had a cool theme but their design is pretty goofy
Earthen are a more goofy version of dwarves
All the allied races before that were pretty meh. None were really cool or rough except maybe maghar which is just because they’re orcs.
Why can’t we have an allied race that’s dark like forsaken? That have a terrible or dark origin story? Maybe a super tragic origin?
All the recent races (especially allied races) just seem so meh. I just want a new race that I can get really hyped about
I’d rather them slow down on the “new races” and not give us a recolor of a current race then pat themselves on the back for it.
