Yes, Ofc crazy amount of tOp Io PlAyErS use dreamsurge to get 5 stacks on buff for up to 25% of damage, healing and movement speed
And, raid buff can be kept from Story Mode in Queen Ansurek to M+
I don’t want to even mention about the buff in Garrison during Feast of Winter Veil, /kiss to some specific Winter Veil NPCs will get a 10% Versality buff for 30 mins can be brought in M+ and Raid too
Fix it please Blizzard And get a reward for players who are not using and spamming these BS.

If devs get around to fixing this, the reward for the other players would be no action to the accounts.

Are these exploits or just really inconvenient optimizations?

I’m surprised the Chinese are even put on the same leaderboards considering they have their own game clients and the game isn’t even run by Blizzard lol.
I guess without them this game would look even more dead than it already does. Even with Chinese players, there were only like 650k keys ran last week.

Why should they be given a reward beyond not having their account actioned for exploitative behavior?
Assuming blizzard considers this such.

Also plenty of US/EU players cheating for 0.1% push, some even logged their runs with full raid buffs (getting AI bshout marks without mage/war/druid) in team. I would say the US/EU cheaters are smarter because they don’t cheat to R1, so kind of under the radar. I doubt blizzard is going to do anything about this after all, this only affects the 2000to3000 key pushers for 0.1% (which is by design competition).

somehow Blizzard just hotfixed on DreamSurge in PVP, Arena, Battlegrounds but could still be existed in M+ and Raid, clearly they know this BS and still chose to let it keep going in PVE. How interesting.

same.
if i take PoE as an example, the chineese have their own client with slight variations as well… but they’re sure as hell not on the same ladder lol.
they can pay to revive a hardcore character and stuff, unethical.
basically it’s fine if it’s the same exact client… very questionable if not.

raiderio is not blizzard-maintained. they have their own channels of comms.

I feel bad for M+ players. They are so concerned with everything except remembering it’s a video game.

I mean all actual in-game rewards are tied to the region, so some Chinese dude cheating isn’t going to affect your chances of getting top 0.1% or qualifying for MDI or whatever.
That being said, obviously these exploits should be fixed.
Exploits.
Having Mark of the Wild with no Druid in your group is not an intended interaction.
Oh yes the touch grass comment. It’s not only M+, anything that is competitive on nature, people hates exploit because it is unfair. PVP being the most obvious, then the PVE competitions (RWF TGP MDI or M+ ladder). It’s fine you can’t relate, but even for non competitive game play, someone else abusing a bug and killing your hardcore toon is infuriating. Yes it is a game, that doesn’t mean it is ok to do anything.

I’m going to tell you my personal experience, while living in Georgia. I went to gaming lounges and I shared computers with all the gamers. I visited a Chinese gaming lounge and played WoW, to my surprise the world of warcraft application had over 1,000 addons and mods.
I hope you see this comment before it gets flagged.

This has nothing to do with touching grass, and everything to do with perspective. Even in a competitive setting, it’s still just a game. Nothing is “killing” anything. Is something frustrating? Sure. Report it for repair. But when people act hyperbolically like the sky is crashing down because someone 12k miles away using a 3rd party addon is doing better than them at some 20 year old game, I have to wonder if they even have real life priorities. Someone woke up today knowing it was their last day on earth, and would probably love their biggest issue to be some bug in a game. Let’s stop mistaking a bug for a world ending event.
