You’re not “buying” gold, you’re selling an item for gold. Nothing will happen if you sell an item on the AH and the other player is mad because they didn’t pay attention to how much they were paying for your item.

I mean, I sold a common items in 10k gold or more and use USD to trade with others to ask him to buy the items…In my memory bliz will ban players if they buy golds from others.
You cannot sell any in-game items for real-life currency. This is a serious offense.
