Both the #Nochanges crowd and people who do want changes both want what is best for classic, but they strongly disagree what would be best. It seems that the majority of people would be happy to have vanilla-like changes but they are drowned out by a mixture of a vocal minority(#Nochanges) and trolls who greatly exaggerate what we want.
I don’t agree with that at all. If nothing changed it wouldn’t be retail.
Too much changed, and turned into retail.
Hopefully what’ll happen is you’ll keep doing what your username is doing dreaming this ain’t happening
No. The whole thing that makes classic such a better experience is that it is harder, that you can’t just jump into a pack of half a dozen mobs and expect to survive, that you have to think about what you’re doing out in the world. The greater intensity compared to retail makes it feel like you’re actually accomplishing something by leveling, instead of just trying to get back to the end game treadmill. Retail already caters to people who want the autopilot Warcraft experience.
A company that doesn’t “give a crap” about potential customers will eventually go bankrupt. Jeff Bezos rightfully says this all the time “it’s all about the customer.” He also rightfully says most companies in the history of capatalism don’t last forever. Just words of wisdom from a sucessful buisness entrepenuer.
well, classic wow is already a very changed vanilla so…
Am I really a casaul gamer? I don’t think so. I will use a example from my personal gaming experiences to prove I am not a casual. In 2001 “Zelda Ages and Seasons” were released. I have literally played it 100%, the Goron dance and all for the hardest rings, edited the strategy guides on the game that were released when it was new to make them more accurate. I love gaming, but I hate grinding and wasting time. I like to play games. Walking around in the world is not gaming, it’s boring.
I logged into classic this morning, thought of the walk and think, literally “watching CNN would be more fun” LITERALLY. I don’t have anything aganist CNN but it’s just my point that news in general would be more fun.
Now maybe if they have a flightpath from goldshire to sentinal hill I’d consider hopping on it and getting into questing, which I am able to stomach for about an hour or so. This kind of change would encourage the classic style questing at least. Getting people on the move of playing the game instead of walking.
I am the voice aganist classic. I want people to know what a terrible game it is. Someone spoke aganist it, and it is me.
Actually the creator himself made the changes after replaying the game years later, and thinking of ways he can improve it to be more enjoyable.
