You play classic wow, and then state that you want changes.
I swear you do that on purpose, cause the #nochanges crowd.
Don’t rub the balloon. You know what happens!

I personally think that if they made walking speed faster, made the drop rates improved & made the mobs less intense (sometimes they chase you clear across the map) this version would be better.
Do you not realize that that’s how Retail wow got to the point it’s at today? People wanting things handed to them. Don’t be so naive.
I think retail is fun. Though I stopped long ago (June 2013) because it became too tired by expansions bloating it. Im leaving classic too after Halloween, unless they juice it up somehow.
I think that if you played your mage past level 13-- say, to level 20-- you’d find yourself a lot more powerful, not to mention more speedy in the overworld due to having Blink.
Or maybe try another class. Maybe you’re not meant to play a mage.
No changes people make no sense because this game isn’t Vanilla and Blizzard has changed a bunch.
I had a level 30 paladin but deleted it because I didnt want to grind my way anymore. I actually started to feel exhausted. Then I had a epiphany on how terrible of a game I played when I started in BC- no offense of course to people here who enjoy it. I realized it was nostalgia. I was only 20 also.
Im playing this mage slowly, to enjoy (hopefully) the halloween event in this version. I always enjoyed WoW events, like darkmoon fairie (which Im also hoping makes a stop by then, but I have no idea if it will).
Anyhow, I think grinding and more isn’t fun. It’s boring. I think the game can be made better. Honestly designing a game and thinking “they can do the same thing over and over to have fun” is kind of nutty.
Also I’m on the forums to share with others my opinions. To see what they think about them and discuss. I spent 6 years of my life playing WoW almost daily as it is. Which is about 1/15th of it, depending of course the age I live too.
Exactly. Blizzard has changed and is not trusted to develop classic into classic+.
Thank god we dont need your kind in classic.
Why would i not do the same thing I did during vanilla? Isn’t that the entire point of classic?
But Im here… and I will not level high either. Just sit in goldshire, or stormwind hehe
Games evolve due to lack of new content. It’s inevitable. There were many changes after vanilla that we were all very excited to see. Some of these were class balance changes, qol features, and even flying. Stop acting like these things were terrible because they weren’t lol. Classic is fun af and I’m having a blast but realistically how long is it gonna take before servers start dying down because of no new content. I know some of you are saying to yourselves “Never, I’ll okay classic till I die” but it’s not realistic. 2-3 years maybe at most there won’t be very meany people left who haven’t beaten every aspect of classic. So the choice will either be go back to retail, quit wow all together, or hope for something new. I think the idea of classic + is awesome. I’m not saying change the existing servers but maybe add new servers and go a completely different path from the existing retail story line that keeps the vanilla theme.
Which is exactly why it doesn’t need more changes. It’s all that’s left - at least we were given the world back. Cata destroyed everything and took away what was left, at least it’s before that mess.
This is a brand new game not Vanilla. Absolutley no reason for the hissy fits people throw on here.
This right here.
Eventually you’re in a Wall-E movie and you’re a lard riding on a Jetsons scooter sucking sugar water.
Core mechanic and gameplay changes shouldn’t happen, they should actually get buffed to be harder.
But class balance changes? Absolutely. Mages, warlocks, priests are all broken easymodes. Nerfs are in order for a few classes, it will only make the game better and more challenging once we can no longer cleave spam through all the content. It’s not fair to melee characters and to some extent hunters (albeit they can sort-of flex into an AOE group with volley and multishot) that every dungeon group is 3 mages, 1 bot tank and 1 bot heal priest, and sometimes a warlock replaces one of the 3 mages.
Those balance passes need to occur soon, because it’s cheapening the entire experience of Classic. Layering was/is bad but at least we know it has an end date. Now let’s fix the OP and broken caster classes.
#nochanges
why u guys do worry? we just do it like we did before,… if they start changing/ruin the game again we just make our own servers until they give us classic 2 lol
I think it proposes a challenge and sense of struggle. The speed is fine, it feels like you’re running through a world. The drop rate are great - there’s scarcity and a real sense of reward. Every little gain feels like improvement.
Them mobs need to be tough, I’d rather have one tough mob than ten I can blow through with out an effort.
100% agree! atm it just feels abit too easy, most of us know they did this for the retail crowd so they dont gonna get scared playing a Video game but after they all left and quit it would be better to give us the early/mid vanilla difficulty back!
Nah nah, you’re good. No balloons.
