I am eagerly awaiting the day when the official art and models for all five mounts is revealed by Blizzard… and the board becomes flooded with posts along the lines of “if I had known the tree looked like THAT, I would have voted for _____ instead!”

Everyone should remember this is only the NA poll results. This doesn’t take into account any other region’s votes. The tree could win here, but when everything is added up we could get the Nerubian.

I guarantee that the “caterpillar” will just be one of the devourers that uses G’huun’s skeleton, which is already a mount that comes in several colors. I’m also willing to bet that all the losers will end up on the cash shop.

Tree will most likely use the same rigging as infernal mounts and look very similar while caterpillar will probably be entirely unique as no other mount looks like it and there probably isn’t a pre-existing Mount rigging or animation set for it. That being said I voted for the Wandering Ancient I don’t think I would want to ride around on the caterpillar even it turned out to be unique and funny as I simply prefer to take my characters more seriously even if I can appreciate people being silly.

Edit: Also new caterpillar models in Shadowlands, i’d just wait for them to make it a mount in a future Night Fae raid or questline honestly.
