I mean, I’ll be happy since its a free mount but I’d wager that it will be used for maybe a month then the novelty of riding a caterpillar will ware off.
My thoughts exactly. The tree is nice, but the caterpillar is better. The book is basically the MoP kite with a reskin (I’m assuming).
EDIT: The only two mounts that wouldn’t be reskins are the Tree (maybe) and the caterpillar. If we want more unique mounts in the future that aren’t simply reskins or recolor, the only real choice is the caterpillar, and maybe the tree.
Nerubians are awesome. Not only did I vote for that, I’d play as that if it was an option.

They literally didn’t dude lol? Horde attacked the group trying to figure out what the goblins were up to in sith which is what caused the spiral to start. No looking at what someone is doing is not considered a hostile act by any standard.
On the other hand, we have a blossoming ancient pet, so why not a blossoming ancient mount to match?
I have so many wonderful ideas for playable Nerubians. I love the idea that they have this totally alien mindset to the rest of the races of Azeroth, and was trying to figure out how to present that in-game. One thought I has was that while they have absolutely no problem distinguishing between Forsaken and Scourge at a glance, they have to keep being reminded of the difference between, say, a Tauren and a Blood Elf. So one of them writes a handy-dandy guidebook to explain it to the others, which works great until a non-Nerubian tries to read it and their brain melts out their ears.

The prelude to the war predates those events. Genn is to blame for the war starting.
If we get stuck with a caterpillar over the tree or the book or literally any other option because of you know who that is really not okay.

You know why. If people wanted the caterpillar and it won fairly I wouldn’t love it, but I’d get over it.
I’m still holding out hope the poll is actually just a false flag and they’re actually creating all the mounts and you get to choose the one you want most.
Because that’s what you deserve.
If you mean Asmon had his viewers vote for the caterpillar, I don’t see anything wrong with that. In fact, I probably gain respect for him being able to control hundreds or thousands of people, doing his bidding. 
Plus it lines up with what I want, so, it’s all good.
