The story forums is having a small Mendela effect. I distinctly recall that there was lore saying that Bilgewater goblins of Undermine were not Horde. But when I did redo the questline that specific flavor text seem to be gone.
Can anyone else confirm if they read something about it?
Weird, as I recall, it was always that Bilgewater was the only Horde aligned cartel of Goblins. If they aren’t, that means Goblins would officially be full on Neutral like Drac’thyr, Pandaren, and Earthen.
Not exactly. The specific lore discussion is how the Bilgewater goblins of Undermine are not Horde.
That officially the only Bilgewater goblins are the ones who escaped via the boat from the goblin origin.
the bilgewater are part of the horde, the entire cartel, but in undermine specifically they take on their former neutral role. they straight up tell you this in the intro how tf did nobody in the story forums pay attention to that.
Hence why there people are saying Blizzard is gaslighting people. That the specific dialog that the Undermine Bilgewater goblins are not Horde(yet) has been removed.
People on the forums do not play the game, only complain about it.
Isn’t it nice of Gazlowe to not constantly berate and insult you as an Alliance player?
Tyrande, Shandris, Turalyon, etc. could learn a lot from him. If only the main Alliance NPC’s weren’t all such horrible people.
Gazlowe knows how to negotiate. Some of the other leaders have an ego bigger than their reasoning will allow.
Maybe the Alliance leaders would be nicer to the Horde if they didnt follow a genocidal leader bent on their people’s destruction every other minute?
I could’ve sworn I read it too, via an optional dialogue clicky right after arriving in Undermine for the first time.
And yet it seems to be gone now.
We did and a lot of us saying it but there are a few that 100% do not agree that it happened. Now we are confused because of the gas lightning lol.

Well of course the Undermine Bilgewater Goblins are neutral! We couldn’t have Alliance players questing for a Horde faction! The horror!
We are literally questing for Gazlowe, you know the leader of the Horde goblins who is very much Horde.
Horde allegiances in general have been wishy washy for a while now, but Gazlowe has always been fine with alliance questers, you killed pirates for him in Ratchet.
That’s why they added Renzik!
No, really… it wasn’t meant to be a serious comment. I don’t care if they’re neutral; faction means nothing nowadays except for what race you can be. 
I mean Renzik died. I am not sure that can be considered Alliance favoratism.

Whenever I did quests for them on my Horde I longingly waited for a pop-up button that made me shiv them in their neck, from behind. Oh, that includes Nathanos as well.
