only .09% of players have gone into BFD. This is a massive gatekeep that keeps players from enjoying the game. BFD is in the hands of the most exclusive players in wow and keeps the normal people out.
Looking for raid does not hurt anyone. In fact LFR should drop the same item level loot as non LFR. Non LFR will clear the raid faster and have more teamwork so many people will not use LFR at all. LFR should be there for those who want it. LFR will be harder because of the lack of teamwork/leadership, but many people dont care about wiping over and over. It is simply fun to raid without people judging you.
Make you own raid you say? No. That is gatekeeping. I and many others want LFR to be grouped with other people like me that dont want to learn the fights watching videos and want to take hours to clear the raid, if at all. Again most people will not use LFR so they can have their 30 minute clear times, but LFR should be there for those who want the challenge.
I donât think thatâs true, but even if it were I wouldnât advocate for Dungeon or Raid finder in any version of WoW. These are anti-features for me that greatly detract from my personal enjoyment.
Of course Blizzard doesnât have to cater to me, they can cater to who(m)ever they want.
I dont think its .9% I would at least say 5% have done it cause at least on living flame im seeing more an more hydra blades on warrs which is good but at the same time I do agree on the gatekeep for lockouts its becoming increasingly harder for averages players to get into raids especially when people are asking for logs lol
Fact is, you canât count anyone below lvl 25 for the purposes of this kind of statistic because characters under lvl 25 literally canât enter the raid in the first place. Not even mentioning how the lvl 1-10 quitters who were just trying to play with âtheir streamerâ dilutes the pool even further.
I just donât like the lockout system. Iâve pugged the raid twice now and both times somebody left at Kelris. Itâs nearly impossible to find a replacement in a run thatâs 5/7 already. If lockouts were based on your individual boss progression pugging this content would be SO much easier. Thereâs probably a ton of people each lockout stuck at 5/7 that canât fill for another group thatâs also stuck at 5/7 and disbands. But Blizz has already responded saying that it would be too hard to change the classic code to do this. So itâs either group up outside the game in a 3rd party app (Discord) so you have a CHANCE of regrouping the next day. Or just hope your pug clears it 7/7 in one go with nobody leaving. They could just make the lockout 1-2 days instead of 3 if itâs too hard to fix. I would enjoy running the âonlyâ content this patch more anyway. Itâs bad enough only being able to do content that lasts an hour twice a week, but when one person can dip halfway, it makes it feel a lot worse.
Itâs very accessible, I have cleared it 6 times and were all pick up raids. Iâm 85% your just trolling, but in the interest of the 15% chance your not, it doesnât sound like raiding is for you, because itâs going to get much harder from here on out.
I mean when the devs did the number saying that only 10% reached lvl 25 and that was 2 weeks ago so by now we probably have maybe 10% more? I would say about 5-8% have completed a BFD and im probably being real generous with those numbers but real talk the lockout hurts SoD more than the devs realize and its not an idea of giving in or making the game easier for casuals but just give them room to play at a pace or potentially getting carried is fine but most of these players will fill the 5/7 and just give up honestly since the only real content is farming old content to eventually do the only ânewâ dungeon in SoD
