Are honestly hilarious to me.
I haven’t done mythic Nya yet but I am 12/12 heroic and you know what? Warlords raids were worse. This raid tier is honestly not that hard. Jadefire itself is harder than any of the bosses in Nya.
Honestly, people struggling with this content both amuse and sadden me. Amuse because I know they wouldn’t be raiding at all in previous xpacs. Sadden because - as I’m pugging - I see how common it is to fail simple things like “stand in null zone for annihilation” or “focus down adds” and realize that apparently the vast majority of the playerbase isn’t up-to-snuff for an actual, difficult encounter.
I mean hell, Nizzy Boi himself is a pretty simple fight. And yet…
I don’t know, folks. The raid looks good and is enjoyable but it’s not hard.

Who called for raid nerfs? the nerf LFR Nzoth threads? ignore them, they are a meme. And if you refer to the most recent tuning pass, it was mythic nerfs, which has nothing to do with the realm of aotc raiding.

LFR nerf threads are not related to real raids. LFR is a different thing and should not be used as the benchmark to design real raiding.

For real? Those are for LFR?? (aware that the tuning was for mythic x-realm)
LFR is a glorified dungeon… What are people asking for? I honestly just saw a couple titles saying something about nerfing the raid.
If it’s LFR people are struggling with then this is worse than I thought lol.
Look folks, I know DHs make it seem like you should be playing WoW on mobile but the thing is, you can’t/shouldn’t
It really isn’t.
You cant feed LFR players baby food for 5 years and then expect them to be fine with a boss that you can’t just tank & spank with a bunch of under geared / uninformed players.
It’s not hard. But it’s also not appropriate for LFR.

I feel no sympathy for the situation. LFR is meant to be accessible but to say the player should have zero responsibility for at least trying to learn something is a bit absurd.

I agree with you, but its by Blizzards own design that LFR has become such a joke and so easy to do.
So when you add a boss with actual mechanics it just becomes a mess.
Don’t think Ive ever joined a N’Zoth LFR group without a bunch of determination stacks and some arguing in the chat.
Need to start the tier of with a level of difficulty. Can’t have it easy easy easy and then a sudden and large jump in difficulty for the very last boss.
It’s definitely the worst LFR wing they’ve addd.
Takes forever to do either boss for potentially 430 loot.

All of your kills ARE post-nerf…

Your kills are heroic, and heroic version has been nerfed for a while, of course it’s easy

It sounds like you haven’t bothered to read even a single thread on this topic of the many that have been posted. Why should anybody have to spoonfeed such a lazy “raider”?

Interesting. When was heroic nerfed?
In your entire WoW history you have three AotCs and nothing else. Why is it ALWAYS these guys who make these threads? You have no significant raid experience to speak of so you don’t get to have an opinion on this subject. You don’t even have a single cutting edge and you’re talking about how hard raid content used to be.

The change to Mythic Ilgynoth this week was actually a buff. The pulses are now every 17 seconds instead of every 19 seconds, but the damage is the same. Therefore more damage going out on the raid.
Apparently it didn’t occur to Blizzard that reducing the circle size would cause the pulses to happen more frequently.
Don’t know the exact date, but quite a while
Damn I didn’t know they nerfed stuff beyond Mythic
Thats quite funny, first they nerf ilgy so people try to dispel and move away from the no dispel strat, then they nerf it now reducing the explosion radius, actually promoting the no dispel strat, they are all over the place lmao.
Generally speaking a lot of changes, especially early on in the patch cycle, are trickle down outside of mythic exclusive mechanics.
The last changes to Nzoth involving paranoia not targetting tanks was all difficulities. The Ra-den health nerf early in the cycle was also all difficulties iirc.

i mean the change was lazy to begin with since it straight up broke the boss for about 12 hours.
The way the circle was coded is:
- It gets grows until max radius (let’s say 20 yards idk exact numbers)
- It does damage
- It starts shrinking
- At 0 yards we go back to step 1
Tell me what do you think happens if the circle is now sloppily coded to never make it past 18 yards (again idk the exact number) in this chart?
