The Broken Blacksmith quest NPC non-interactable

Quest Name: The Broken Blacksmith
Quest turn-in Location: Krokun Hovel, Krokun, Legion expansion
Quest turn-in NPC: Gaal
Character affected: my Warrior Marios on Velen

Gaal is non-interactable. I have tried relogging, dropping and reacquiring the quest, zoning to a completely different continent, removing my Interface and WTF folders, clearing my Cache, rebooting my computer, doing many different combinations of those things, and then finally scouring the internet for helpful tips from other players of which I found zero. Nothing worked. Gaal remains non-interactable. I even tried switching characters and having a character who doesn’t have the quest try and initiate a conversation with Gaal, and even my other character cannot interact with Gaal.

I assume this is a bug as Gaal is a repair NPC, so even without the quest, Gaal should be interactable, but Gaal is not. This concerns me as Gaal has follow-up quests to this quest, and if he won’t let me turn this one in, odds are he will not let me pick the next quest in the chain up.

Fixed the not being able to change posting characters thing. This is the toon that has the quest.

I could not turn in the quest, either, on my mage alt.  Attempting to interact with Gaal will have him face you briefly before he turns back to ignoring you.  No NPC window, nothing.

It’s currently impossible to pursue the Ensemble sets.

Same exact issue today for this character, done same troubleshooting as above.

Happy to report my warrior can now interact with Gaal.
